Kenshin's parents died of a cholera epidemic when he was at young age, so he was sold to someone. His name was Shinta back then. A year later, while travelling with these people, they were attacked by bandits. They were all were killed, except for Kenshin who was saved by Seijuurou Hiko, who became his master. Hiko changed Shinta's name to Kenshin, because he thought it sounded stronger, and taught him Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu. When Kenshin was 13, he had a big fight with Hiko, and so left him. A few years later, Kenshin had become a paid body guard/ assasin for the Ishinshishi clan. During the Bakumatsu No Douran, he killed so many people he got the name 'Hitokiri Battousai'(master assasin). After single handedly saving the Meiji government, Kenshin came to his senses about what he was doing, and vowed never to kill again. So the most deadly Battousai was now a rurouni, (a traveller) and began to travel around. |
Element: Fire
Kenshin's element is fire it is almost identical to Crono's mainly because Crono taught him about the elements and Ki. Kenshin's element also resides in his red hair and is also like the blazing fire in the wind. He may not use it as much but still has very much talent in the powers of Ki and the Elements. But unlike Crono this does not have any sayajin heritage entombed within it. |
Weapons:
Sabakatou Sword (Reverse Blade Sword): The Sakabatou is the sword that Kenshin carries as a wanderer. It has a revered blade. This means that when you draw out the sword, instead of having the sharp end pointing down, it is on the top. When Kenshin fights with the Sakabatou he is still capable of harming the opponent, but is unable to kill them. If he flips the sword over he is able to kill. After Kenshin took the vow to kill his master Seijuurou Hiko gave it to him. Kenshin told Hiko about his ideals to use a sword without sheding the blood of people and Hiko simply said "fine with those ideals lets see how long you still believe in that mumbo jumbo here take this useless steel"
Katana-Kenshin's only deadly blade he owns. After taking his vow never to kill people again, Crono provided Kenshin with this, for the sole reason of defeating demons or other beasts. |
Skills:
Fly: Using inner ki to push self upwards, downwards and side to side. |
Ryu Sou Sen: Kenshin blocks then with godlike speed slashes repeatedly. Randomly attacking the vital points at high speed, it doesn't give the enemy a chance to recover from the attack. Very ideal for enemies with great stamina. |
Ryu Tsui Sen: Another attack with godlike speed. Kenshin jumps high above the attacker; even the best swordsman have their vulnerable points from the air. He quickly jumps into the air above them and strikes down on the shoulder or neck, sending a shock through the entire body. |
Do Ryu Sen: This works two ways, above the ground or in the ground. Kenshin strikes above the ground with godlike strength, causing dirt and stone to fly like a dragon at the attacker.Very handy for attackers out of range, or to cancel out similar moves. At times, he does put the sword into the ground even though it slows the movement. |
Ryu Sho Sen: This attack might actually cause harm to Kenshin since he uses a reversed blade. This technique uses and upper rising block toward the enemy's throat, possibly crushing their windpipe, or as in this case, dislocating their jaw. The enemy's falling weight combines with Kenshin's upper thrust so it delivers a more lethal blow. Pressing the blade up with the left hand would most likely cut Kenshin's hand. |
Ryu Kan Sen-Isunuji: Another attack were godlike speed is crucial. Using his speed to get past his enemy's sword he then strikes that enemy's body in the midsection. The move looks like a dragon ascending to heaven. So another words he charges the enemy, dodging their attack and turns over in the air to slice as he turns. Rather amazing and cool looking. |
Battou Jutsu: Technique using lightning, or "god-like" speed to overwhelm an opponent and kill them with one strike. Although it's a powerful attack, after using it, you are left defenseless. Even though this strike is ment to kill with Kenshin's Sabaka sword it doesn't kill but causes intensive damage. |
Nidan Battou Jutsu: Same as Battou Jutsu only uses sheath to strike opponent as well. Expecting to miss the first strike with the blade using the same technique as normal Battou Jutsu just with the sword's sheath. |
Karatake: Basic Sword Stab |
Katate Hira Zuki:Quick and agile dodge of a sword attack. |
Shiraha Dori: A defense technique in which the sword is discarded and an attack is blocked by grabbing the blade of the attacker's sword with both palms. |
Ku-Zu-Ryu-Sen: Kenshin's more than likely fastest technique. It is to wield the sword nine times from nine different directions at once and strike all nine vital points all instantly. Because of that, it is impossible to dodge or to defend this certain move. According to Hiko, since this move is completely impossible to be avoided or blocked, the only way to break it is by making one's move before one's opponent uses the 9 Headed Dragon Flash. |
