Gerrard Rayne: ::Leans against the railing at the top of the stairs and stares down to the bottom of the house, whistling to himself::
Zarek Yeran: ::Chuckles, leaning against the banister next to Gerrard, chuckling a bit, before looking around, still seemingly in awe::
Charisse Banning: ::Finishes up cleaning the kitchen and leaves a piece of pie on the table for Kreacher before looking around, making sure that everything's in place and then hurries out of the kitchen, past the bottom of the stairs and quickly through the set of double doors into Sirius's study, staying in there for a few minutes before hurrying back to the kitchen with another tray containing place settings for two, presumably Sirius and Lupin::
Gerrard Rayne: ::Chuckles a bit and watches her run back and forth, shaking his head a bit::
Zarek Yeran: ::shakes his head, frowning a bit, before looking at Gerrard:: Shes not even been here a full day, and is already doing everything. I havn't seen her stop for more than five minutes. Shes going to wear herself out
Gerrard Rayne: ::Nods slightly, looking up at Zarek:: No kidding...hrmph...well maybe she'll let us give her a hand later..or at some point
Zarek Yeran: ::chuckles, nodding at Gerrard:: We can try at least..
Charisse Banning: ::Quickly washes these dishes, placing them back on their shelves and takes out a large pot, throwing in a number of vegetables, spices, and meat, setting them to simmer on a low heat for dinner and washes her hands, drying them as she steps out of the kitchen and makes her way up the staircase, smiling at Gerrard as she spots him at the top of the stairs::
Gerrard Rayne: ::Turns his head and smiles at her as she walks up the stairs and he offers a small wave, chuckling softly:: Hey.
Charisse Banning: ::Smiles and raises a hand to wave in return, stopping about halfway up:: Where's Zarek? He looked exhausted...
Gerrard Rayne: ::Points back to the room, smiling a bit:: He went to take a little nap, he should be back up in a little while..
Charisse Banning: ::Chuckles softly and nods a bit, eyeing him for a minute:: Come here, I want to show you something...
Gerrard Rayne: ::Nods slightly and stands up from the banister, walking over to her::
Charisse Banning: ::Turns and heads off down the stairs and a short way down the hall, stopping by a pair of doors and chuckles looking at him for a minute:: In here...
Gerrard Rayne: ::Trots down the stairs just behind her, his feet padding lightly against the wood and stops next to her, smiling slightly and studying the doors::
Charisse Banning: ::Smiles at him for a minute before pushing open the doors and stepping to the side, beyond them is a room filled with beautiful rose bushes and pathways, like an indoor rose garden, winter sunlight filters down through the glass domed roof::
Gerrard Rayne: ::Walks into the doorway of the room and gapes for a few moments before looking at her, and points through the door:: M-may i?
Charisse Banning: ::Smiles at him for a minute, motion into the room with a small nod:: Of course...
Gerrard Rayne: ::Steps through the entrance a bit timidly a very kid like look gleaming in his eyes and he runs his hands over a few of the plants, crouching down to stare at some of the flowers and shakes his head, looking up at her:: This is absolutely beautiful...
Charisse Banning: ::Smiles and steps in behind him, watching him quietly and then smiles again, taking a look around:: Thank you... Uncle Sirius and I finally finished it last winter...
Gerrard Rayne: ::Chuckles softly and smiles, standing up, inhaling the scent of the plants before looking at her again:: I really envy you Charisse...that must have been an adventure...::Stares around in awe for a few more moments::
Charisse Banning: ::Smiles at him for a minute before closing the doors behind them and takes a few steps toward him:: Uncle Sirius really is nice to me... I'm so lucky to be able to live here with him... But by all means, spend as much time as you'd like in here...
Gerrard Rayne: ::Chuckles softly and smiles at her, studying her quietly for a moment:: Oh i really would...but maybe some other time...i'd rather spend this vacation with you...and Zarek..
Charisse Banning: ::Nods slowly, blushing a little:: Perhaps for a while now then? While Zarek's asleep? ::Walks a short distance up the path to a small gazebo climbing with roses and sits on the bench there::
Gerrard Rayne: ::Smiles a bit and slides his hands in his pockets walking slowly up the path behind her to the gazebo, taking a seat next to her, staring out over the garden and then back to her::
Charisse Banning: ::Stares out at the small pond in front of them, watching the fish for a few minutes before looking back at him with a small smile:: I wanted to apologize for earlier...
Gerrard Rayne: : ::Smiles a bit and shrugs, shaking his head:: It's alright...really...
Charisse Banning: ::Shakes her head slowly, looking up at him:: No... no, it's not... I just, sometimes I don't know what to think or feel or do... and I get so flustered...
Gerrard Rayne: ::Nods a bit and smiles slightly, reaching out to pat her arm gently and speaks softly:: I know..i really do..i feel the same way and i just revert back to joking to hide it... And..i...well i don't know if i should have, but i mentioned-something-to-Zarek-about-it. ..::Eyes her for a moment, trying to smile a bit::
Charisse Banning: ::Smiles just slightly and shakes her head:: I don't know... I would usually be able to handle it... to keep it under control, but after Davi-- ::Blinks once:: You what?
Gerrard Rayne: : ::Frowns a bit and shakes his head:: He was curious about why you and i were acting kinda funny...I didn't tell him anything really, just that we were working out some things..feelings..::Ponders for a moment:: He didn't get it, he looked completely confused..and then you came in with the food..
Charisse Banning: ::Nods slowly and studies him for a minute before shrugging a bit and smiling:: No harm done, I suppose... I just want things to stay as normal as possible... I don't want him to be trying to give us time alone or hinting at anything...
Gerrard Rayne: ::Shakes his head:: No i don't think anything like that will happen...he seemed completely oblivious for the moment...i just figured i should at least try..
Charisse Banning: ::Nods a bit and then smiles after a minute:: I think that maybe before we start to bring other people into it, we may want to even begin to figure it out ourselves...
Gerrard Rayne: ::Nods slightly and smiles, relieved now and pulls his legs up onto the bench, studying her quietly:: Probably a good idea...and i'm sorry it just seemed like a good idea at the time... He might ask you about it...it's completely up to you what to say...
Charisse Banning: ::Smiles a little and shakes her head, shrugging a bit:: It's alright... and I suppose I'll have to see when the time comes... I just, well, I'm not sure myself...
Gerrard Rayne: ::Nods, chuckling a bit:: I know the feeling...it's just, you know all these years of feelings coming out in a few months...
Charisse Banning: ::Nods slowly and looks up at him:: And with no way to know if it's really what we're feeling, or something sprung out of convenience... friendship... Fear, even...
Gerrard Rayne: ::Nods a bit, smiling slightly at her:: It's true...which is why it's so hard...i just wish there was a way to sort through everything and force it to make sense...
Charisse Banning: ::Smiles just slightly in return and nods slowly:: So do I... it's so hard sitting in the middle... It would be so much easier if it was either clear, or went away completely...
Gerrard Rayne: ::Nods a bit and smiles, chuckling softly:: It's true...hopefully sometime soon we can figure it out...but what you said before was a good idea...friends for now...
Charisse Banning: ::Looks at him for a minute, shaking her head just slightly and seeming about to protest but then smiles a little and nods:: Yes...
Gerrard Rayne: So uh...::Chuckles softly and smiles, nodding towards the door:: Does your uncle know your an Animagus? or was he the one who taught you?
Charisse Banning: ::Blinks for a minute and then nods, smiling fondly at the thougt of Sirius:: Yes... he taught me... He said it would help a lot with mischief and it's a good trait to have.
Gerrard Rayne: ::Laughs softly and smiles, nodding a bit:: Well i can certainly imagine...::Ponders for a moment:: Does he know you taught us?
Charisse Banning: ::Chuckles softly and nods again:: It was his idea...
Gerrard Rayne: ::Stares at her blankly for a moment before, giggling slightly:: Remind me to thank him...and you again for that...it's such an experience
Charisse Banning: ::Smiles and shakes her head a bit, chuckling softly:: It's really no problem. It makes everything so much easier...
Gerrard Rayne: ::Chuckles a bit and nods:: It's very true...and very exciting...it's so wierd to be able to smell everything so clearly..
Charisse Banning: ::Laughs softly, nodding a bit:: And hear everything... ::Shrugs a bit:: Not to mention that it's saved his life more than a few times.
Gerrard Rayne: ::Grins a bit and nods, chuckling:: It's very true...i don't know...something very freeing about it.. ::Slinks down off the bench, his form changing to a large white wolf and he puts his front paws up on the bench, barking softly at Charisse::
Charisse Banning: It really is... but, I should go check my stew. I'll meet you back here in a little bit, alright? ::Chuckles softly and pats his head lightly before standing and walks off down the path with a wave::
