Class description:

This course enables students to improve their skills as knowledge workers through effective and efficient use of desktop productivity tools, workgroup tools for collaboration, and Internet technologies.  The emphasis is on productivity concepts and ho to achieve them through functions and features in computer software.  All students are expected to use the web and other resources to expand their knowledge beyond the classroom and share some of these newly discovered ideas with the class.
