The Progenitor of the Hunters as a whole, Riekin's claim to power lies both over the vampire hunter ranks, and over the other Lord masters as a whole. The "Cheater of Death", it was Riekin who first achieved immortality, and brought it to the other Lord Masters in their turn. On a more minor note, Riekin enjoys playing tricks on people, and is a master of disappearing acts.
On another, minor note, no one can look Riekin directly in the eyes, without the feeling that those eyes are trying to siphon their soul into a pool of eternal madness. They say the eyes are the window to the soul, and if that's true... No one wants to see Riekin's...
