Race Listing
Here are the different races that walk our nights. BTW, if I say it's restricted, then nothing you can say will change my mind. If I see an application with one of these listed as race, I'll give you one chance to change it and a reprimand, and if you don't take the hint, I'll chuck it out the window. On another note, I don't reccomend playing something that CANNOT be a hunter. Those are listed below too, and I even tell you why :)
Races
- Human- Self-explanatory, I hope! But there are Several Subclasses and crossbreeds
- Subclass: Witch- A human who has sold their soul in exchange for power, and is often no longer as human as they were when they entered this world.
- Subclass: Seer- A Human, usually blind, who is cursed with the ability to see spirits.
- Crossbreed: Human/Vampire = Dhampire
- Crossbreed: Human/Demon = Darkling
- Vampire- the undead, the noblemen of this world. Gifted with black magics and sometimes the ability to shape shift.
- Mutants- those unfortunate souls, whose genetic codes have changed due to the residual radiation, gifted with strange latent abilities.
- Lamia- Snake-like creatures, who feed of life force and blood. Very seductive.
- Demon- creatures that embody the evils of the world, and are often more powerful than they seem at first glance. They enjoy coming into this world, to torture humans and play with their minds. Some are not as evil as they seem, however. There are a FEW kind demons, which even then are often a bit cruel, as demons have no souls.There are a few different kinds.
- Type: Incubi/Succubi: Demons that inhabit dreams, and steal the very souls of their victims; very seductive creatures, to say the very least.
- RESTRICTED RACE Moroi- A demon race that was wiped out a thousand years ago. SUPPOSEDLY there was one male child left alive after the race’s demise, but the validity of this statement is unknown. The Moroi were an extremely violent and aggressive race of demons, but they still had a strict code of conduct and an astounding sense of familial devotion.
- RESTRICTED RACE Darai- A demon race gifted with the abilities to warp the very fabrics of reality and mold their own flesh like putty, as well as the ability to shift dimensional planes to their liking. This race was primarily responsible for the death of the Moroi; their hated adversaries, and it is a little known fact amongst the demon hunters that they continue to search for the one rumored survivor. Very dangerous, usually only the Lord Master will tangle with one...
- Were-beast- Any thing that transforms on the night of the full moon.
- Spirit- A soul, who doesn’t wish to carry on to the next world, and often remains only to torment and toy with the living, often with violent intent. Seldom do they have fully good intentions, but as with all other races, there are flukes here and there.
- Golemns- Golemns were once called creatures of the earth, but now are viewed as true threats. They can regenerate their bodies, and it takes a skilled and specialized hunter to deal with them; most others simply have to flee.
- Lesser Dragon- A great, mutant lizard, which often stands at least three building stories tall, and tends to spit fire. Their blood is even dangerous, burning hot and mildly acidic, and their teeth and claws are to be reckoned with.
- Greater Dragon- A greater dragon is a larger, much deadlier form of the Lesser Dragon, standing usually six stories tall, minimum. They breathe a variety of elements, and have thick, tough hides to protect them from sword strikes and the like.
- RESTRICTED RACE Angel- a heavenly creature, possessing wings for flight, and existing of the holy element. However, as it is rumored the first vampire hunter, Riekin, stole the secrets of immortality and Aura element magic from an angel, hunters tend to steer clear of these rare beings. They seek to kill the immortal Lord Masters.
- RESTRUCTED RACE Immortal- generally only applying to the Lord Masters. Immortals simply cannot be killed in any way, are eternally the age they were when they cast the spell, and are often a bit alienated from society because they have lived so long.
What CANNOT be a Hunter
- Greater/Lesser Dragons- If you even need to ask, you shouldn't be playing this game.
- Spirits- You can't very well get hired to hunt if you're dead.
- Incubi/Succubi- Um, self--explanatory, I think. They're beings of darkness, sorry.
- Witches- Um, no. Witches, in this world, are evil. Sorry, no go.
- Vampires- Um, sorry, the aristocracy has no views on what's right or wrong for humans. Plus, how the hell are you gonna hide during the day?
- Angels- Explained above, they HATE hunters
- Darai- Again, pretty self-explanatory. They're evil to the core.
