Fashion Statement:
Usually wears a skullcap of some kind, lots of layers in dark colors. He likes to purposefully put holes in the knees of his trousers, or patches over pieces in defiance of convention.
Personality:
He’s distant, cold, and intimidating. He’s a troublemaker, and he’s not afraid to use his demeanor to manipulate people. He’s not as much of a bully as some people think he is. He doesn’t charm women; his natural beauty and aloofness are what usually attracts them to him in the first place and he simply plays out the game.
Background:
He was abandoned by his parents at a young age because they simply could not provide for him. He was taken in by an old man and while he was never abused, he also wasn’t loved. His troubles started during his time with the old man, and he never seemed to ever please him. They lived in a small cothold in High Reaches where everyone minded their own business.A Guard saw him one time when he was playing around with the swords in the armory (he was technically on punishment and should have been polishing them) and saw the boy’s potential. He convinced the old man to allow Ashkevron to apprentice him, and his life soon changed for the better. He lived with the guards in relative luxury compared to his life with the old man, but he was bitter against the world. He learned a lot and proved to be a good student, but he had no friends and remained cold and distant from everyone. He continued to be at the heart of every bit of trouble, and was known for defying the rules. Needless to say, everyone was a bit surprised when he was Searched during Turn’s End festivities.
He came to High Reaches Weyr when he was barely 17 but already a deeply scarred and troubled youth. He Impressed a beautiful brown dragonet his first time on the Sands, and through Galbraith experienced what it was to be loved for the first time. Despite his new lifemate, Ashk’vron remained distanced from his fellow dragonriders. His only friends are two Clutchmates who have just as many issues as he does.
Recently, High Reaches underwent some changes, and Ashk'vron, Kinner and D'karai all made the move to Xavier Weyr. Now even more alone in the world and further removed from his past, Ashk finds solitude in the ambiguity. Through some random events, he's become 'friends' with ww Jocelyn of Tamlinth, though their friendship consists of a lot of antagonizing. He's also been promoted to Wingleader, despite his numerous objections.

Personality:
She’s smart, really smart. She’s even cunning when she wants to be. But she’s very insecure about herself, and she’ll use her sexuality to reassure herself. When she’s not feeling insecure, she’s distant and cold and untrusting. And a bitch.
Background:
She was the youngest of 12 siblings. Her father had 4 wives, her mother being the least favorite. Her father always told her that he had no use for her. She wasn’t full-breasted like her elder sisters. She didn’t inherit her mother’s stunning depthless ice blue eyes. She was a twig and ran around like a boy. She had no Harper talents, nor any inclinations for anything else useful. Her mother, who had until that point been barren and had since not produced any other children, shunned her. Her siblings did the same, for the most part. And when Kiven died in a hunting accident, the only family member that had ever showed her genuine love and kindness was gone.When she was Searched, her father finally admitted she might be able to restore honor to her name. When she Impressed a green, he revoked that statement and told her not to come home again. She found an odd sort of friendship in Ashk’vron and D’karai. It was more like they all recognized a kindred spirit in the others, and bonded because of that. Their type of friendship might not pass for the same among others. Kinner thinks she’s in love with Ashk, but he’ll have nothing to do with her sexually.
Kinner was really the reason that the group moved to Xavier. She had taken a lover on one of her "nice" days, but then when she wasn't into him anymore and he made a go at her, she cried rape. Things might not have gotten out of hand if he hadn't been her Wingleader. Because Ashk'vron and D'karai stuck by her, even in a fist fight, which led to their transfer.
Kinner hasn't really changed since arriving at Xavier. She's already put her hooks into a couple people, most notably Brownrider Jo'dan and Bronzerider L'for. She's also been made Candidate Mistress, which certainly doesn't improve her mood.

Physical Description:
Vivaldi has always been a beautiful woman. Age and Threadscoring certainly changed her appearance, but her overall form is still attractive. She's got high cheekbones and a delicate nose. Her skin has a deep golden hue to it, probably after Turns and Turns in the Igen sun. Her eyes are a light hazel color, with a few small flecks of green. She has brown hair that falls in gentle waves to just below the nape of her neck, though it's usually tied up and off her skin. Across her left hairline and forehead, she has mild Threadscoring, and it's caused her hair to grow back frizzy and kinky where the scarring is.She's lithe of body, and like all dragonriders, she's stronger than she looks. She's got a decent amount of Threadscoring across her left side, starting on her shoulder and working its way down across her arm and hip. It's not too debilitating, but she does have significantly more strength with her "good side". Due to the Threadscoring, when possible, she wears longer-sleeved clothing and pants. She's not embarrassed by it, she just doesn't always like dealing with the "oh, I'm so sorry, how did it happen" bs. She's a rider; it happens. She also wears a piece of her daughter's green's shell in a pendant around her neck that hangs low. It was a gift from her daughter.
Personality:
As a healer, Vivaldi excels with her patients, most of the time. She's empathetic to their needs, and her quick mind is able to deal with the people on a personal level, while still accessing them medically. However, one of the things that has made her excel is her drive to exceed. At times, this drive can make her be blunt and to the point, short-tempered, impersonal, and obsessive. She takes it personal when a patient dies, even though it happens. And she's not one to coddle someone when they're injured. "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger," you'll often hear her saying. As a rider, Vivaldi has nothing more important in her life than Bajezeth. She loves her dragon with a fierceness that is surprising, given how determined she is to continue with her Craft. After her and Bajezeth were Threadscored, she's made sure the green's never felt inadequate. Vivaldi has a very good relationship with her family. She loves her daughter dearly, but they both find that distance makes the heart grow fonder.
History:
Vivaldi grew up in Big Bay in Igen's territory. Her father, Alderon, was a shipbuilder and her mother, Viviana, a creche worker. She has several siblings including three brothers, A'ver, V'ctor (deceased) and Valer, and two sisters, Vivia, and Avera. A'ver was the oldest and she followed close behind in age. She loved to watch her father work at building ships, and would often go with him to work instead of the creche (which she found boring). It was after several times of going with him to work that her true interest was found. There were minor injuries that the healer had to called for and after watching him work, Vivaldi was hooked. After that, she bugged him so much with "why this" and "why that", that at the young age of 12, he convinced her parents to send her to the Healer Hall, if for no other reason that to earn some peace and quiet.She went through apprenticeship without any major mishaps. She was very bright and quick and excelled at her lessons, though it was her dedication that made her stand out and not some incredible aptitude. During her apprenticeship, her two eldest brothers both Impressed at Igen Weyr, and she was able to see both of their Impressions. She found the mauling of young Candidates by dragonets to be relatively disturbing. She did get pregnant and gave birth to a beautiful daughter, Veronika, named after her father, N'ka, a rider from Fort. While she wanted to care for herself, her Craft demanded time, so her daughter went into the Creche, though she spent time with her.She walked the tables at just after her 19th birthinday, and began to be sent to various holds to work under other masters.
She had just turned 25 when her last brother's Impression took place. She'd managed to attend, and was in the Stands when Valer Impressed a brown. She had barely paid attention to anything else, and so was surprised when people were pointing to a little green that was just sitting near the last row of the Stands. She was even more surprised when that green's voice suddenly sounded in her head. And so it was that Vivaldi became the 4th dragonrider of her family at the age of 25 to Green Bajezeth. Resolved not to abandon her Craft, she went through weyrlinghood and then spent most of her free time in the Infirmary. Her own daughter Impressed the following Turn at Fort Weyr to a green.
It was in their first year after weyrlinghood that Bajezeth and her were caught in a freak clump of Thread, literally skipping into it from Between. Bajezeth's Threadscoring was severly worse than her own, the green's wing muscles being damaged and the sail almost shredded. The dragonhealers decreed she'd live, but she'd never fight Thread for a full Fall again.Her own injuries took a significant amount of time to heal. The Threadscoring to her thigh forced her to use crutches and severly limited how much she could help with Bajezeth's recovery, and had to rely on the dragonhealers for the green's therapy. She did not however take her recovery "sitting down", and instead used her forced limitations to further her Craft, helping out around the infirmary with diagnosis and non-physical aspects of the Craft. Her daughter gave her a necklace with the shell of her green Sonjath embedded in a silver pendant. Nearly a full Turn later, Bajezeth was recovered enough that they could fly together again, though the green's endurance is severly limited. She was assigned to the sweepwings instead of the full Fall at Igen.
Due to their limitations and her advanced placement in her Craft, it was decided that they were prime candidates to be send to Scuro (NPC) Weyr in the North. After the WL of NPC had a nervous breakdown and the only queen died, it was decided to send the riders elsewhere. Vivaldi applied for Xavier, since the warm weather was closer to that of her original home of Igen.

She's a petite green of a deep emerald color, dark enough to look nearly black in poor lighting, though in the sun she's certainly green enough. Her wings are covered in Threadscoring, particularly on her left side. Her sails are covered in ugly red lighting scars. She tires easily in flight and cannot fly a full Fall.
Dragon Personality:
Despite her injuries, Bajezeth is a very sweet green. She knows her limitations, and tries to push herself. Her goal is to one day fly a full Fall again, even though the dragonhealers doubt the achievement of this goal. She knows she has Vivaldi's full support and love, even though her rider is enjoying being much more involved in her Craft.
