Asagiri No Miko is the story about seven girls who work together to fight demons. Well some for certain reasons probably do more work than others. One major task they have is protecting a boy named Hiro from the demons
This site is a shrine dedicated to the anime series itself. It contains bios, images (screencaptures and perhaps other stuff in the future. Be warned through. There are many things I am not expert on and much of this is based on my perception from watching 11+ episodes of the series.
Reason: Why did I make this site? Well for one thing I do like some popular series such as Love Hina.
However sites for it are a dime a dozen. And the amount of people who could make a better Love Hina site than me are numerous. Far better for me to just visit LH sites then make one that is concentrated on L.H for example.
Asagiri no Miko is a series that has not been licensed yet and does not have what it takes to get instant popularity. So I doubt many sites for it will be made. Of course making a site based on the fact there will be few sites for it is a weak reason.
With that said there are more important reasons why I made this site. In simple terms I became a solid fan of the show after three episodes. While episode seven hooked me on the series.
The series constantly surprises me. Things I thought would go one way go another. Mind you these aren't huge revelation twists. However the show does a good job introducing twists without any of them seeming like they are thrown in there.
The group is pretty balanced. The main Yuzu herself is the best of the group, but she isn't some goddess who can do everything while her friends are punching bag. And although there is fate involved in some ways, it does not feel like a forced destiny story.
I also enjoy how the parody elements are subtle. In one episodes they parody the transformation sequence. Rather than make a big deal out of it, they give it a more subtle feel. Rather than showing off a joke transformation, you get a line such as "Let's Transform" then "Transform?" followed by "She simply means we change clothes." to explain what tranforming means. In other words the jokes are part of the story and not the whole story.
The cast. This is the second anime, I've seen where I have trouble hating any of the main good guys. The first being Azumanga Daioh for those who are wondering. All have their own charms. Still my favorite is Chika in the end.
The music is also a reason I watch the show. The battles tunes are some of the better ones. One of my favorite tunes is played at the end of episode 08. Another good one is played at the start of 23 which I saw raw.
Credits: The fansubbers for without them, I'd have no way to get the images as of current. And of course the series creators for making the series in the first place.
