She is only even remotely close to her fellow outer soldiers, and not much so to them. Her occupation also doesn't exactly lend itself to a good deal of romantic involvement.

- History: As the guardian of the gates of time in the alternate universe, Mesu has spent a good deal of eternity doing so. Recently, however, (her recently being slightly different from that of other peoples) under the command of the Konranno family, she left her post to work with the other outer senshi. The entrance to the gates was closed off, though she still keeps the key to the door itself with her at all times. She collaborated with Neptune and Uranus in the military training and upbringing of thier universe's Sailor Saturn for a long while, leading to a sort of akward closeness between the Guardian of time and the much younger soldier. Akward because their age difference prevented it from being proffesional and her militaristic purpose and lifestyle prevented it from being personal. She serves the Konranno with a mixture of sceptisism and desire to fulfill her duty as a senshi, whatever that might be.
- Personality: Not extremely withdrawn so much as extremely not outgoing. Mesu's lack of experience in having "friends" of any kind often has the effect of making her seem cold or haughty, of which she is neither. She doesn't talk very much at all, only when necessary, and is not given to conversation much at all. Her personality is a bit warped because of her conflicting intelligence, kind nature, and desire to do her duty despite misgivings.
- Apppearance(fuku): A deep maroon skirt, white sleeveless top with black bows at the chest and at her lower back. At the center of earch bow is a silver, star-shaped clasp, matching the pendant of her choker, which is also black. Her boots are high heeled, almost reach her knees, and are entirely black, with laces running down the outside edges.
- Appearence(diff. between Mesu and Setsuna): Mesu tends to wear her hair short and fully braided to keep it out of her eyes while fighting. Otherwise she is basically a complete twin to Meioh Setsuna.
