Android Eighteen

"Gosh how rude. He’s such an arrogant little punk. That’s it... I want him dead. It’s a matter of principle."

Eighteen, just like her twin, is absolutely glacial. Stunningly beautiful, graceful, and slim... but absolutely chilling in her capacity to destroy. At the beginning, at least.

Eighteen was never as childlike as Seventeen. In the mainstream universe, her patience for her brother's youthful games often ran very thin. Rather than toy with Earth's warriors, she would rather just annihilate them and be done with it. However, she did display a childlike need for immediate gratification. If she wanted a new dress, she got it... immediately.

Everything changed when Cell arrived. She witnessed first hand her brother's absorption, and suddenly, for the first time she knew horror. Paralyzed by fear, she watched Tien and Piccolo fight... indirectly, in her behalf. She managed to bring herself to escape, but not without Sixteen, who was so gravely injured by Cell he couldn't move. This was the first sign of humanity in the Ice Queen... she cared enough for her companion to risk her own life saving him.

Together, Sixteen and Eighteen spent hours hiding from Cell, and during that time, Eighteen displayed her capacity to care. She even saved a squirrel from the aftershock of one of Cell's deadly blasts. She found herself shocked by her action... but at the same time, intrigued.

But her greatest surprise was Krillin. At first sent to destroy the last of the twins, Krillin found he wasn't capable of killing her. She hadn't done anything wrong yet... and she was so beautiful. He took a chance, that perhaps she wasn't like the Eighteen Trunks lived his entire life in fear of.

And, as it turned out, Krillin was right. While Eighteen was absorbed by Cell, she was later set free, and decided to make a truce of sorts with Earth's fighters. Later, she married Krillin, and even bore a daughter, Marron. While she never discarded her cold, calculating demeanor, to her family she could be warm and caring. Marron's smile lit up Eighteen's world, and in the end she was finally able to regain some of the humanity Gero stripped her of.
