Neo-Midgar: The most populated city on the planet. The old Midgar was destroyed when a Meteor nearly hit the planet. It is a replica of the old Midgar, but it is built on a main spot where mako(earth's life energy) can be extracted from the earth. A rebel group, named UNION, lead by Barret, the old leader of AVALANCHE in the old midgar, is recruiting members and trying to once again, take down the Shinra, the owners of Midgar who makes a profit off of turning mako into electricity have come back.
Jobs: Join UNION for 1 mission, and get paid $2000 for a completed mission and some personal quests. If the mission fails then it will depend on how much you have completed for your pay.
Join the Shinra army and try to put an end to UNION. If mission succeeds then you will be paid $4000. If mission doesn't succeed, then you will be paid $2000.
Become a salesman for three days and get $200 dollars a day.(For jobs like these, you just sit back for three days and not do anything as the cash rolls in.)
Mideel: Mideel is close by to the old Midgar and will take two days to walk to unless you have a tiny bronco or a highwind. It is a quiet town with not much action even though it is sometimes attacked by mako mutants from midgar.
Jobs: Join the police patroller, and help them fight off daily mutants for one day. They will give you a gun that causes 400 damage to use. You will not be able to keep the gun but you will be payed $1500 dollars for your assistance.
Chocobo Farm: Walk(fly, ride, etc.) to the chocobo farm which has a stray chocobo(s) that have escaped the farm and are now hanging with mutants to protect them. You can also buy a chocobo as a companion to help you in fighting or to ride you to another city.
Jobs: Chocobo retrievers are needed to retrieve a rare chocobo that has escaped with monsters. You will be paid $5000 for the retrieval of the chocobo.
