The War of Shanda

The War of Shanda officially begins in the Chomashinian passing of 5000 PCD when the Anasadi Chomashi enter the war, but for most Shandians the war truly began in 4967 PCD with the massacre of Vishuda.
It is believed that the war was started by a Hybrid named Serdao-Kan, when she was exiled from the East. From various sources it can be deduced that the powerful leader was humiliated by the Nonoshan in the East and later the Anasadi Chomashi, as both groups refused to harbor her in her campaign to start a war with the draconic species of the Mainland.
After being sent into the West, Serdao-Kan gathered other Hybrids to her, convincing the abused creatures that they were better then those of their mother species. She also tried to ally herself to the Nonoshan Halfbreeds, but they were already being led by the peaceful Tinghi, who refused to wage war, or side with the crazy things that Serdao assured her people was true.
Cutting her loses, Serdao-Kan led the Hybrids against the small western clan of Hinkasid and took over the clan’s land and resources. Adding more numbers to her army, the Hybrid invaded the neighboring territories and was able to take over. Seeing that Serdao had become a threat to them, the Western Alliance sought to make a treaty with Serdao. They signed away the West to the insane Hybrid, as she bought the newly enslaved Yinou Chomashi from their brothers in the south and forced them to fight in her army.
Using the new power that she had gained in the recent years Serdao attacked the Halfbreed base, and killed all but a few. There she discovered the scrolls of the Vernian Orb, and the maps that its keepers, the Riifui Nonoshan, had made hundreds of years ago for the long dead Gushida. The power of the Orb was enough to make Serdao the ruler of Shanda, and the scrolls set her sights on something even greater... the Great Blackness.
Immediately, Serdao began sending squads into the Riifui territory to attack the secluded Nonoshan there. While these missions were mostly failures for sometime, the West attacked the Eastern city of Vishuda and killed all of its inhabitants. Unexpectedly, however, the advancing army was met with great resistance outside the city where enraged Nonoshan had gathered at the warning of the escaped Halfbreeds.
Infuriated that she had been beaten by Tinghi and his kind, Serdao began to send individual Hybrids into the East to find the remaining Halfbreeds and kill them. These bands were discovered by Tinghi and he was able to find safety in the coastal city of Redsdiui, where the local Nonoshan formed a militia and fought against the raiding Hybrids.


((This is where we currently are in the war... the city of Redsdiui with Tinghi and the Halfbreeds. Basically, at this point the war is simply between the East and the West, the Sharro have not yet joined and though the Yinou and Ruenui Chomashi are involved, our charries would know nothing about them. War tactics and weaponry will be added to this section as more info on the Nonoshan and Sharro are posted.))
