"Damnit! Everyone to battle stations! The overlord is attacking!"
At this command, all of the crew went immediately to battle stations.
"Where's the Meddler? is he on his ship, ready to go?!?"
minor: "Ahh, yes sir... we beleive he took The Executor..."
Nobody: "Good, because we're gonna need it in all this..."
"Alright, I’m going out there in the fray, anyone wants to come along, just follow me."
Krispy: "I'm with you Ramz, just teleport us where ever the heaviest casualties are, and we’ll do our thing."
"Good, let’s do this thing."
With that said, Ramz and Krispy teleported off the battle cruiser, and into the fray of the battle.

"Alright! Bring us around 112, mark 317. Target that ship there!. T-DOT, Red-Alert all hands to battle stations.
"We engage... The Overlord's forces..."
Cut to an Outside shot, A Correlian Corvette flies by one of the Overlords ships, firing it's Heavy Turbolasers.
"Come on... Are torpedo tubes ready??"
The droid at the Weapons panel punched a button.
"Armed and standing by, sir..."
Good, ready to fire...
"T-DOT, Status of the other ships??"

The Super Star Destroyer immediately went to battlestations. Multiple shield layers went up to block incoming fire, while space-time stabilizers kicked into effect to prevent the locality around them from being opened to the anti-matter universe by grid-fire impulsers, as well as attempts to board via spatial displacement. Wards and anti-spell barriers were in place to defend against attacks from an arcane avenue. Turbolasers, proton torpedoes, ion cannons, and gravitic imploders lashed out at any ships which dared to engage the Emperor's personal transport, while interceptor missiles and beams shot down any incoming fire to minimize the impact on the ship itself.
Meanwhile, scores of tie fighters launched out to intercept any ships which threatened to attack the SSD. Augmented by technology imported from other dimensions and the ingenuity of the Meddler's scientists, they managed to hold their own against the advanced fighter craft fielded by the enemy.
Captain: "Your Majesty, our sensors detect interference in the dimensional fabric that would inhibit our parachronic drive!"
"I expected as much. The Overlord means to trap everyone here and destroy them. Judging by the amount of forces out there, it appears not all of his attack force has arrived. He's the type that likes to employ overwhelming force against his foes, and from what our telemetry is reporting about the battle, Khazan is putting up a very good resistance. Which means reinforcements are soon to arrive. A comprhensive scan of their emergence will give us the keys necessary to slipping past the barriers. And should that not work, I have a fall back plan. Just keep us alive and intact till then.
Captain : "We shall endevour to do our best, Majesty."
"Good, let's hope that will be sufficient."
And just in case it wasn't, the Meddler programmed his own augmented tricorder to analyze the emergence signature when it occured. Always have as many back up plans as possible, he thought to himself. He also checked to make sure certain instrumentations were prepped, in the event employing them became necessary.

Screaming a Battle cry Ramz attacked the nearest group of the overlord’s minions. With reflexes far faster than the speed of light, he decimated them within seconds. Moving into the air Ramz saw a small group of the overlord’s fighter crafts attacking and overwhelming one of the HALST battle cruisers, quickly teleporting the distance, Ramz intercepted them. With energy blast upon energy blast, Ramz took them apart in a massive battle, one by one, piece by piece while some of the pilots ejected after their ships were destroyed, Ramz took them all out with a massive solarflare, and then an energy blast... Seeing his next target, and gather up a huge energy ball, Ramz suddenly felt a disturbance in the force... his mind telling him "MOVE!" Ramz quickly did so... but not in time. Screaming out in pain, Ramz was shot in the back by a Turbolasers from one of the bigger vessels. Trying to recover as quickly as possible, Ramz again took a shot from the ship. His head swimming in pain, Ramz couldn't think straight... He knew if he was to take another blast like that, a blast that could easily destroy planets, he would fall unconscious, and taken aboard to be tortured by the overlord... or worse.
Feeling the heat of the next blast that was ready to take him out, Ramz braced himself, only to feel... nothing? Wha..? Gathering himself to see what saved him, Ramz saw The Executor. His enemy now turned ally saving him. "Why?" Ramz thought to himself, "Why save an enemy when his death would not be on you’re hands?" Putting the thought aside, Ramz recovered, and started attack once more, keeping a close eye on the Meddlers ship, The Executor...
Heroes always repay their debts, and Ramz now had a big debt to pay the Meddler.

The Grand Vizier stood in the Combat Information Center of the flagship, simultaneously processing all incoming data reports through his 4th-dimensional quantum computer implant.
Situation -- Our strongest fighter is not cleared to assist Boarding Party Alpha until he has completed the first mission assigned to him by the Overlord. Our ground combat forces are progressing forward only where there is no significant resistance. Boarding Party Alpha is being almost entirely stalemated by the unexpected ability of the Andromeda Ascendant to retain local teleporter function at least within its primary shield envelope. Communications are being made a hash of. And the initial fleet deployment might as well have been made by zombies... actually, it had been.
For a timeless micro-instant of time, he thought. And then, at the speed of neural interface, he sent the thoughts.
Signal to all Fleet units -- shift long-range communications from foldspace com over to encrypted quantum-tunnelling stuttered tight point.
Intership communications, as well as links to the ground forces, took a rapid jump in efficiency as the harder to jam quantum-links were put into operation. Short-range tactical communicators would still suffer static and dropout, but now at least the command circuits were clear.
Signal to all ships on the firing line -- deployment Beta-One
The orbiting Sphere-Ships fell back slightly and into a rigid globular structure, sacrificing maneuverability for a regular dispersion pattern without holes.
Signal to all task force commanders in reserve -- commit your fleets forward at once at Emergency Military Power, deployment Beta-Two.
The bulk of the attacking Sphere-Ships flickered into existence in between the gaps left in the original fleet's englobement maneuver. Khazan now lay utterly surrounded at a distance of one light-hour, with no gaps anywhere in the sphere save where the order for maximum drive overload combined with the dimensional warping of space to cause core explosions. Several Sphere-Ships, each one representing years of effort and holding millions of men, exploded into the void before ever getting a chance to fight.
Acceptable losses. Squadron commanders, re-space your lines to cover those holes.
The Sphere-Ships smoothly moved to cover the gaps left by the deaths of their comrades.
Signal to Baron Kagato on Phase World -- increase dimensional jamming 15 percent.
Such a degree of jamming would begin to interfere with the Dominion fleet's own movements... but it would also utterly neutralize the ability to use even the shortest-range teleportation, thus allowing Boarding Party Alpha a chance to finally close in to kill range on assigned targets.
Excellent. But now...?
The Grand Vizier paused for a moment longer to review what tactical data was making it back from the surface of Khazan. Even he hesitated slightly to take this next step, due to the destruction of valuable property it would cause. But victory was more important than anything.
Battleship commander, execute Fire Order X-Ray.
Selected members of the host of orbiting mile-long battleships tasked to engaging starships attempting to take off and delivering supporting fire to the ground troops turned their primary gridfire impulsers on the planet below and opened aperture. Like tongues of solar flares brought to Earth, the ravening nuclear energies tore the very air apart with superheated explosions. The planet Khazan rocked from the impact of multi-megaton matter/anti-matter explosions, equally spaced around the planet's surface. Unlucky Legion troopers caught at ground zero died by the hundreds of thousands, callously sacrificed and obliterated by the forces of their own master.
And the very air of Khazan burned.
Spaced so that all the planet's surface would be affected, the waves of superheated air roared out to sweep all life before them. Precisely calculated to be just within the capacity of Legion infantry fighting armor to survive (unless caught within the primary fireball itself), the fighting Dominion troopers only suffered momentary disorientation from the blast wave. Due to his immense innate power, Lieutenant MunchKING, commander of all ground troops, barely even noticed it. And the Heroes of the Last Alliance, of course, had by various means of sorcery, science, ki, or sheer innate power the wherewithal to survive or evade such blasts.
But the normal fighting men and women of Khazan died by the millions, as their buildings crumbled around them and the very air they breathed burnt their lungs to carbon ash.
And as the flames of war burned ever higher, the Overlord smiled.
