Location: The planet Char
Sometimes he made mistakes.
This was one such occurrence. Demensional Teleportation wasn't a precise thing, all sorts of strange astral currents and eddies got in the way, and it simply took effort. Massive effort, which winded even him for a little bit.
Rimfiztrik knew right away that he hadn't arrived at Metaphysician's location, nor even in the right plane. He stood upon the surface of a barren, desolate world with a distant orange sun lighting the mountains. Craters littered the landscape, and the stars shined in the night clearly, despite the sun. There was no air on this world.
That was uncomfortable for a moment, until his body adapted to it. The ground felt nearly molten, so intense was the heat from it. It almost looked alive. It *was* alive, he realized after another moment. He could feel it moving, could feel it in his mind. It was dark, almost the color of rock, but deep purple viens stood out in it, carrying strange fluids. The stuff extended for miles around, nearly to the range of moutains in the distance, at the edge of the crater.
"So much for visiting and chatting." he thought to himself.
The stuff extended into the ground, feeling like one giagantic living mass around him. It was connected, too, to something far greater. It was a massive, collective consciousness. Everything alive on this planet was a part of it, even the strange creatures he now sensed flying about on various parts of the world, on orbiting abandoned platforms, and near him. Thier thoughts were simple, feral, and savage. They were hungry, they wanted to kill, they wanted to multiply. The larger mind connecting them all spent much of it's time simply keeping them under control, preventing them from rampaging across the face of this world.
Not that there was anything to rampage across. This planet was a wasteland, except for the creatures and the great mind that connected them.
One of the smaller ones approached him, now. It sprang out of the ground a few dozen meters away, and leapt towards him. Mental commands from the greater mind flew back and forth between it. And alert was broadcast as it senses him. He felt thier need for him, thier hunger. They want to consume him. No, consume was the wrong word. They wanted to assimilate him, make him part of them. The creature bounding towards him looked like some sort of armored dog. Closer, he realized that it only had two legs, and some kind of stinger-like appendage on it's back. It hissed silently at him, the airless world forbidding all sound, but did not attack.
More were coming. They wanted to overwhelm him.
He dampened his psi-signature as much as he could, and he felt the great mind pause in confusion for a moment, then resume it's pursuit of him. Its pet beast here could still see him, and it knew his face. He wouldn't be able to hide that way. A swarm of the armored beasts was approaching, bounding across the landscape from distance outcroppings that he now saw were... giant organs. Giant pulsing organs the size of buildings.
Action was needed. The creatures were almost upon him, and he couldn't decide if he wanted to simply flee, burn them down wher they stood, or try to take control of them. Talking to them was out of the question, and talking to the greater mind felt inherently dangerous.
Rimfizitrik gathered his thoughts, and sent out a strong packet burst of Psi-energy. Space around him shimmered for a moment as it penetrated the fabric of this universe. It passed beyond his reach after that. Hopefully, though, it would reach it's destination and carry the information he'd attached to it to Metaphysician: Everything he'd seen on this world, and a simple question.
What should I do?

His mind was at peace for the first time in a long time. In the dimensions of the multiverse, he had nearly been consumed by his newfound power. His efforts to achieve new power had nearly driven him mad, and the power had almost all but destroyed him. But here on Earth, his power was quieted, and he was in control again. Here on Earth, there was peace...
... a peace shattered by a psychic scream. T-1000 could sense it's urgency, it's importance, even with his own psionic powers weakened. The message was not for him, he could tell. Yet the message was so strong, so panicked, that he could not push it out. Images flashed through his mind. A planet. No. Not a planet anymore, a dead planet! But with life! Sentience unlike any in the universe. Vicous creatures that tore at all life they did not recognize as being like their own. That tore at all life not part of the greater sentience.
The images were followed only by a single message. A single thought that carried it. What should I do?
Anywhere else in the multiverse, T-1000 would have the mental strength to interpret the full meaning of the message. But here his power was limited, and his control of what power he had was not absolute. He could muster only a single message of his own. A message which was directed back into the multidimensional stream from whence the original message came.
Where are you?

"If I were you, I would run. Now."
"Or better yet, teleport far, far away."
Written by Rimfiztrik 08-31-2002 12:16 AM
For a moment, Rimfiztrik thought he heard a distant echo of a reply. It came very faintly across the fabric of the universes, tiny and distorted by noise. Where are you?, it asked him.
He had no answer to give, for he did not know.
The creatures bore down on him, grasping with large pincers, carapace plates unfolding to revealing arrays of spines. They ringed around him, making threatening motions with thier claws, silently hissing in the vacuum. They advanced, barely restrained from thier savage urge to rend him to bits by the overriding commands of the great mind that made them all dance like feral, lovecraftian puppets. Distantly, floating like giant gasbags, large controlling creatures hovered. They were like small pieces of the great mind, each performing a tiny task, controlling a few of the monsters. They were barely self-aware themselves, only able to think simple thoughts of obedience and docility that they imparted to thier monstrous charges.
There was an overwhelming sense of danger. His clairsentience came, unbidden, filling him with thoughts of dread about these creatures. Terrible images flashed in his mind. They foretold and showed terrible carnage, massacres, and entire worlds and civilizations being wiped out by these creatures. Millions of lives snuffed at the tips of thier claws. Ancient, magnificent civilizations were torn to shreds by the beasts.
It made him angry. He did not want to run.
Rimfiztrik reached out his hand just as one of the larger creatures reared back, ready to strike at him. The creature exploded, its internal organs flashing to vapor before his photokinetic wrath. He swept his arm around like a sword, scything into them, and armored bodies burst and exploded. They screamed terrible mental screams of anguish as they died, and the great mind that controlled them reeled in shock, which then turned to rage.
Swarms of them rose from the planet's surface, coming for him.
He continued sweeping his arm back and forth, incinerating them to ash, boiling them where they stood. They kept coming, like a wave of nightmare ants, climbing over the charred bodies of thier siblings. The mass of body parts and carbonized residue piled up like a crater around him, and the beasts poured down the sides of it, closing in. He couldn't kill enough of them this way, they still approached, now nearly within arm's reach. He switched tactics.
They became a frozen wall around him, shattering and breaking before his cryokinetic whim. He shot his palms out, preventing the larger shattered pieces from falling and crushing him, hurling them against more of the creatures that still scampered over the icy wall of bodies around him.
They still came, digging their way through the ice. He felt the ground rumble, and felt a vague, intense sense of danger.
A spine burst forth from the ground below him, piercing his thigh. Rimfiztrik tried to shriek, but the vacuum carried no sound. It withdrew, leaving a huge, bloody hole.
He staggered, his concentration on the battle slipping as he frantically willed his body to knit itself back together. The hole sealed shut before his very eyes, restructuring itself. The heavy chunks of ice fell, one slamming onto his shoulder, breaking it. He desperately willed it to heal, feeling the bones force themselves back into place, the torn muscle painfully restitching itself. He was buried under chunks of ice and ash.
Get a hold of yourself, he thought. Mentally throwing back his shoulders, he clenched his fists. His body, already adapted to the vacuum, became stronger still. His skin hardened to scales, small build swelling as he forced anabolysis of new muscles, stronger bones, redundant organs. His metabolism accelerated, neuron pathways thickening. He turned from a athletic young man into a bulky, scaled beast of war in moments, as the creatures tossed away chunks of ice.
He rolled away as a set of pincers crashed into the living ground, dodging the blows of the abominations. They thrashed all around him in slow motion as he danced around thier blow. They were everywhere around, making running away impossible. He settled for wreaking havoc on them. Fusing his hands into sharp masses of bone harder than steel, he cut into them with all his force. It was like trying to cut through solid granite. His blows scratched, but made no headway, only glancing or tapping against the hard carapaces.
He switched tactics again, and the creatures nearest him staggered away. An intense plasma aura surrounded him as he filled the area with heat. He slashed at them, his hands burning right through thier bodies. Lightning crackled from his fingertips and they went into convulsions, thier own muscles ripping and spasming uncontrollably. They threw up thier own organs as he mentally forced thier hearts to burst.
He still wasn't making any headway. He could barely keep them off, no matter how vigourously he burned, froze, slashed, and electrocuted them. He was a whirlwind of death, and they didn't care.
This was tiring him. Even he couldn't use all multiple aptitudes at once, at this intensity, for very long. He felt thousands more on the way, millions. The great mind was hungry for him, hungry to take him into itself.
That was it, the great mind, which restrained the beasts. That was the solution.
He ceased his barrage and poured his power internally, focusing it for a single attack. Pressing his hands together for concentration, his let his power pour out onto the mental plane, stabbing precisely at thier minds, severing thier connections to the great mind.
The creatures went insane.
They turned instantly on each other, slashing, biting, devouring. Ignoring him, they ripped each other to pieces, rampaging wildy across the landscape. The field of slaughter became a bloodbath as they tore into each other like Maenads in the grip of Bacchus, unrelenting in thier bloodthirst.
The great mind shriek, and tried to connect the threads back together. He kept severing them, and the creatures continued thier orgy of fratricide.
He prepared another packet burst of information, this time not bothering to target Meta, but simply aiming it mentally at anyone he know from Earth Prime. Doubtlessly, the message would be recieved by many who he didn't know, but he didn't care. People needed to know about these creatures, and he didn't dare run away, for fear that the great mind connecting them would trace him, and follow him back to Earth Prime.
He blasted the message across the barrier, and with a silent concussion it pierced the fabric of the universe, carrying all that he had seen out into the multiversal night.

It's finally come . The Sense tells me I am close to my prey . It's been a long hunt ... I took several other jobs in the time between . But this one has always been my top priority . My target ? He calls himself The Fett . He is of course no relation to my once friend and teacher Jango Fett or his son . He does wear the Mandolrian armor however ... One of the few suits remaining after..... ugh sorry old painful memories . Anyway I've been aware of his career for a while now .Been following it since ....an incident .... never had a reason to go after him . Check that ..... I have a personal reason to go after him but a true hunter never acts on personal reasons . Nevertheless I was quite pleased when a job offer did come to me to go after him. So thus here i am ...close to tracking him down ... It wasn't easy .... First the sense lead me to things I needed to take him on. Even with my powers the Fett is a tough customer to prepare for . Then came the actual tracking him down part . Very tough leaping fro m universe to universe .... scaning them with the Sense . It doesn't matter ... I had the time ...and now I feel I am close....soon this job will be over .....one way or another ...

Pellcia: Hey, Has the message been delivered yet.
Servent: Yes, The one knonw as Nemo will be here shortly.
Pellcia: Good, now while I'm away I want you to give my other generals my orders. They being, I want construction to begin on my new battleship and I want them to begin setting up a base on mirror earth. Remember, no fighting, this is just to set up a presence on the planet.
Servent: I'll do it right away.
*The servent left the chamber and Pellcia awaited Nemo*

Servant: Young man, er, young lady...
*Nemo teleported directly in front of the servant, cutting him off. Looking up at the startled servant, Nemo smiled innocently, but the eyes had a deranged glint to them*
Nemo: Just Nemo please.
Servant: O-of course... Nemo. Miss Pellcia wishes to see you.
*Nemo’s smile grew wider, and the servant swallowed nervously, unconsciously taking a step back from the small, harmless looking figure*
Nemo: Well? Aren’t you going to take me to her?
Servant: Er, yes of course. This way please.
*the servant turned and walked back to where Miss Pellcia was waiting, with Nemo following behind and humming happily*

Blackness begins to spread from within the middle of the sun; it reaches out and pulls it within itself. Drawing Kunchinchi and his vessel with it; the sun begins to warp and split into plasma discharges and energy waves flowing into the dark blot.
What is this? Ship whats happening?!?!?!
At this moment in time a force of unknown proportions seems to be dragging both of us and the sun into it. I am unable to pull away from it.
Great; just great....all this work and now I have to let it all slip away because of some freak occurence. Ship its been nice knowing you...see ya in the other dimension.
Shimmering Kunchinchi attempts to leave but finds himself outside of Ship and being forced in with the sun into the ever reaching blot.

The psychic response he had sent into the depths of the multiverse had gone unanswered. If his vessel had been a science ship, it was possible that he could have scanned for the message's origin. But now it seemed that that was one mistake he could not rectify. He continued to pace in constant frustration, unable to control himself. For a moment, he thought he might be able to control his rage by killing one of his lesser officers. He quickly dismissed such a violent thought. Thoughts such as that disturbed him greatly.
T-1000's frustration was soon interrupted by a flash of thought! In an instant, thousands of images and thoughts seemed to struggle to get inside his mind all at once! T-1000 nearly collapsed, only to be caught by two officers who had rushed to his side in time.
He struggled to regain his composure. Soldiers must never be allowed to have doubts about their commander, and T-1000 would not permit such doubts, especially within the bridge crew. As he became aware of his surroundings once again, he could remember a planet! A planet that he had never been to before. What was more, T-1000 rightly knew that he had never been to this planet before. Yet images of the surface displayed themselves in his mind as though he had just been there. These images became impossible to dismiss.
Just like the last time, images of a dead and raized planet. But this message was different, tainted somehow. What T-1000 could not possibly know or appreciate was that Rim's message had been intercepted by the thoughts of the great mind! T-1000 was not recieving Rim's original psychic message, but te edited version as it had been filtered through the great sentience. This time, a name came through, Char!
The name was relayed to the navigational officer. Of course, it was several minutes later before the name was given a planet.
Char. Dimension of origin: 2003.61. Galactic location: sector 1134.666. The Terran system!
A twinge seemed to pierce T-1000's mind. It was a twinge T-1000 had foolishly thought himself immune too.
Fear!
"Quickly, prepare the dimensional gate for those locations. Battle alert, all decks. Prepare to deploy ground forces. All battle stations to red status. All weapons to full power!"
T-1000 grasped the arm rest of his chair for comfort, and almost tore it off in panic. He was on a rescue mission!

Location: Hyrule city
Daytime
The masses had as usual gathered in the marketplace for there daily shopping. There was a quite a large amount of chattering and laughing coming from all directions, not to the likeing of Pellcia at all. Her and Nemo walked around the fountain and went into the potion shop for a quick break. After checking out what's on sail she turned to Nemo.
Pellcia: Alright now, I need you to do a favor for me. There is a little girl outside aiting for her father who is up at the castle. In a little while a boy in green clothes will come and talk to her a bit. I want you to keep an eye on him. Here, take this communicator to keep in touch with me and remember not to be seen.
Nemo: Ok, Sure.
Nemo took up her postion a few meters away and begin watching. Pellcia then turned towards the shopkeeper.
Pellcia: Umm... Excuse me.
Shopkeeper: Yes?
Pellcia: How much are those bottled pink things over there.
Shopkeper: You mean Farieys right. Well they are 50 rupees and you're going to need a bottle to carry them.
Pellcia: Well, what do they do anyways.
Shopkeeper: They can restore your health and bring you back from the dead.
Pellcia: Wow! I'll take one.
Shopkeeper: Do you have a bottle to hold it.
Pellcia: Umm... No, not really. Do you know where I can get one.
Shopkeeper: Well, I got one back here but I don't think I'm going to let it go..........*Pellcia smiles and the shopkeepers face turns lifeless*..........But, you can have it.
Pellcia: Thanks, can I also have that fariey for free too.
Shopkeeper: Yes, anything you want.
Pellcia: That's great. *Pellcia chuckles to herself as she places the mind control device back in her pocket*.
The shopkeeper places the fariey in his bottle and hands it to Pellcia who then heads out the door.

The sun was begining to set as Pellcia made her way across the drawbridge into hyrule field. She pulled out the long silver sword that she owned and begain runing towards the west.......towards the desert.
Pellcia: I'm alomost there. I just have to make it to the desert entrance before.......*A suddan howl was hear that symbolised the coming of night, and then they started comeing*
Pellcia: Drat! Hear we go!
There was a sudden rumbleing as the Bones begain to rise from the ground in masses. As they reached the surface they stumbled towards Pellcia ready to attack. The first that came within range was met with a suddan swipe from Pellcia sword, removeing it's head compleately. She spun around and sent her sword down through another one, spliting the creature in two. The headless one came up behind her and made a swipe at her, tearing a large hole in her suit. Pellcia turned and glared like a mad woman.
Pellcia: HEY!! That suit cost me $800!!!!
With a suddan flash she transformed into her angel form and leaped at the monster. Within moment there were zombie part's flying in all directions, Pellcia when from one to the the other cutting them to ribbons. At last the sun rose into the sky and the zombies sank back into the ground. Pellcia took out her mirror and looked at the hole in the back of her suit.
Pellcia: *sigh* I hate Hyrule field!
She placed the mirror back in her pocket and continued towrds the desert after picking up the mass of items the monsters had somehow dropped.

Pellcia steped out next to the river, on the other side was the Ganondorfs fortress. Two thiefs patroled on the other side of the bridge armed with pikes. Pellcia chuckled to herself, this was going to be too easy.
The two thiefs sat down at the bridge for a break, taking out some food the first thief began to eat while the other one looked at the food greedly.
Second Thief: Hey, I want some of that.
First Thief: Then get your own!
Second Thief: Why you.....
Both thiefs hear a suddan beating sould, like the flapping of wings. But quickly went back to the matter at hand.
Second Thief: BAG!!!
First Thief: IDIOT!!
Second Thief: SCUM!!
Pellcia: You ask me, that what both of you are!
The two thiefs looked up too late as Pellcia flew from above and removed both there heads in one quick slash. She put her sword away and walked quietly towards the fortress.

Oh well; its over with at least I can be happy about that and move on to my plan. What I need is a tournament; some kind of challenge for me. Ever since I joined Miss Pellcia I haven't found much real use of my more physical abilities.
Maybe I should see if I can get something set up; big reward at the end and all that nonsense that usually goes with it....

Necrobe: Fearsome Foes and Pecuiliar happenings
Some...one...some thing is coming....but maybe not....
Awakening in a sweet Necrobe blinks three times in quizical surprise.
I haven't slept in years...so what just happened? Whatever it is...I don't have time for it; I've got to do more than just get rid of the leading factions of the supernatural cartels. Several of the little street rats have approached me; since the others all died and I'm the only one left. Maybe I should accept it? An obvious way to control them..but I don't want to put myself into the lead again..I've learned all that gets is trouble and danger..much trouble and danger
Flickering at first; several almost transparent lights spark on the ceiling. Coalescing into a larger and less vague form; a man hovers in the air for a faint milli-second, then falls to the ground.
Gripping his throat and slamming him into the floor Necrobe quickly puts him into an arm-lock.
Who are you and why are you here?
Seemingly unable to answer the strangely dressed man only stares at Necrobe for the first moments after her statemnt. I...know you don't I?

Nemo: *yawn* This is so boring! Who is this girl anyway? She looks kind of...
Voice: Hey! What do you think you’re doing there?
Nemo jumped slightly, before turning around to face two armored soldiers staring down at her.
Soldier: What do you think you’re doing snooping around so close to the castle kid?
Nemo: Me? *shrug* I’m just watching that kawaii-kune girl over there like Miss Pellcia told me to. There’s nothing wrong with that is there?
Soldier: What are you some kind of spy? You’d better come with me little...
As the soldier was still speaking Nemo teleported up onto his shoulders and grabbed his helmet with both hands. Before he had time to react Nemo had sent ultra hot fire from her hands to the helmet turning it white hot. The soldier couldn’t even cry out as his head was burned to a crisp in an instant and Nemo teleported off his shoulders and turned to the other guard.
Nemo: *cute smile* I’m not supposed to go with strangers.
The soldiers eyes went wide as he drew his sword.
Soldier: Demon!
Nemo barely paid attention to the charging soldier as she had suddenly noticed the boy in green she had been told about approaching the girl. Offhandedly tossing a fireball at the soldier which engulfed and immolated him instantly, she quickly glanced around to make sure no one else had seen her and took out her communicator to report to Miss Pellcia.

Pellcia: Ah Nemo, you've found the boy I trust.....
Suddanly a thief ran towards her.
Thief: Monster!!! Die!!!
Pellcia: *cough* could you excuss me a moment. *Pellcia pulls out her sword and throws it, the sword flies through the air and sinks in the thiefs head.* Ok, Now that you've done that just keep an eye on that kid, after I'm done here we'll meet at the temple of time which is almost right next to the city. See you then Nemo.
Pellcia fliks the communicator off just as some more thiefs ran at her.
Pellcia: *sigh* They never learn do they.

Jacob: Ahhh..... yes you have good eyes to reconize that ...but it is not what I meant .... what do you see.
Lev: *confused* I don't understand sir ......
Jacob :No ? Okay then I'll tell you .... I see possiblites.... A hand can do many things depending on the person and time . The hands of a doctor heals, The hands of a solider kills, the hands of a builder builds . Different possiblites.....but they all start the same way and all need time to develop . Even the simplest thing a hand can do .... form a fist takes time . *waves around * Our hand is still forming it's fist ..... give it a bit more time to see what it fully develops into .. Understand ?
Lev: .... not really ..... but I will follow .
Jacob *as they near a door .*
Good ...... ah here we are ...let's go inside and see what our guests have been up too .....
Lev : Yes sir Master Jacob ...

Ramz was sitting in his study chamber meditating; he has blocked himself away from the world for nearly 11 years now. Only a select few knew his whereabouts, and they were either with him now, or dead. His meditation was broken some 1 hour ago by a massive mental scream, from a known dimension. The scream was that of pain and anguish, it was a call for help, but from whom he had no idea.
He was already getting ready to depart; he had no time to waste. Touching a secret button, a wall opened up, with many different types of weapons inside. What first caught his eye was the Spriggan suit meshed with paper thin undergarment vibranium he acquired in his travels, taking the suit, which was upgraded for better durability and movement, he put it on. Feeling the extra boost in strength and speed made him feel good, he then walked over to the weapons rack, taking with him his magical knife, and 2 state of the art, army machine guns.
After finishing suiting up, Ramz 3.0 was on his way to answer the distress call.

In about a few minutes Zelda will come through here being followed by Ganondorf. Once they reach the gate I want you to follow and stall Ganondorf for as long as possable. Keep him away from the temple of time while Link opens the gate to the triforce, which I will take sence links going to be sealed up anyways. Oh, and take this to.
*Hands Nemo a PIC*
That's one of my better weapons Nemo, it's called a personal Ion cannon. That should keep Ganondorf busy. Now, I'll head for the temple now, see you later.

Ganondorf: Out of the way kid!
Nemo was forced to jump aside as the horse passed over the spot where she had been standing. Fuming, she teleported in front of the horse again and made a wall of fire flare up in front of the animal, causing it to rear up suddenly and almost throw its rider, who leaped off and over the fire landing neatly in front of the childish figure.
Ganondorf: Seems there’s more to you than meets the eye, but that won’t save you if you delay me any further. Now stand aside!
Nemo responded with a fireball, which Ganondorf batted aside scowling.
Ganondorf: You have no idea what you’re meddling in...
Nemo: I know that you’re rude, even worse than that stuck up girl who passed by before. *cute smile* I won’t forgive you for that.
Ganondorf narrowed his eyes and fired a blast of energy at the Nemo, who teleported away and responded with a blast from the PIC. Moving at incredible speeds, Ganondorf hovered to the side, avoiding the blast and throwing several energy balls as he went. Nemo teleported again, but was caught off guard as another blast struck her when she reappeared and sent her flying.
Nemo: *getting up and brushing herself off* You creep! Look what you made me do, I can’t find that thing Pellcia onee-sama gave me! *teleporting away from another blast* You’re going to pay for that!
With that she sent a wave of fire that engulfed Ganandorf briefly before he burst out, singed and smoldering.
Ganandorf: Little brat! v Nemo laughed and began teleporting to random locations in the direction of the temple, with Ganondorf speeding behind and hurling power blasts all the way.

Pellcia: *Quietly*That's right Link, just pull the master sword out. Sealing yourself away for seven years and opening the gate to the triforce for me.
Link stepped up to the sword and reached out to touch it. Grabing the handle he gave a mightly pull and the sword came free from the ground. There was a sudden flash of light as a blue field of energy surrounded Link and he dissapered. Pellcia stepped towards the blue light and with a leap she dissapered into it.

Teleporting into the base, he frantically searched and searched until he came upon a medical laboratory looking room, trapped inside a bubble, forced to do disgusting experiments, where the ones who call him in his sleep those days ago. Quickly Z searched for any sign of the madman who did this, the one in his dream that frightened him and Irma the most. But Irma reassured him hours ago that he was thousands of light years away taking over some other helpless planet.
Focusing his power, Z opened a portal around Irma's location, mentally telling her to go to the Dilemma, and tell CBY that they were coming home, and bringing along friends. Suddenly, a massive creed came crashing threw the door, shooting Z before he could react. "This was defiantly a hybrid; his blaster is actually hurting him" Z thought while trying to get his barrings. For minutes the hybrid wouldn't let up, shooting Z, then quickly pounding on him repeatedly. Finally without warning the beating stopped, when Z looked up, he saw the ones that called him touching the hybrids head, releasing the madman’s hold on his soul. When removing their hands, the hybrid collapsed, the 8 aliens then surrounded him, mentally lifting him up and walking towards Z.
"He must come with us now. He is no longer within Zoyvods clutches. We have released him."
"Zoyvod"? "must be the madman in my dreams" Z thought to himself.
"Yes, he is the one. Now, let us go, he will learn of our escape soon.... we must hurry."
"With that said, Z opened a massive gate to the dilemma entering it with his new allies."

Thug1: I see out guest is awake.
Thug2: Yeah, so he can her the boss have his way with his girl before she is put back on the streets.
Thug1: Then we kill this guy. Boss just wants to get rid of him.
*A scream pierces the room*
Thug1: Seems like the whore likes it.
Thug2: I hope the boss gives us a chance.
*Yelling with rage, Mg rips the toliet from it's foundations and hurls it at the first thugs head. The second thug just stands their stunned as he watches his friends face get compacted by the toliet. Using this distraction Mg runs over and decapitates the second thug. Picking the handcuff keys off the first thug's body, Mg unlocks the cuffs. Unfortunetly only one thug was packing and only a glock at that.*
Mg: Damn. This isn't going well at all.
*More screams fill the room and Mg uses them to find the room Elizabeth is in. Slowly opening the door Mg feels the impact of a bullet on his back. Swiftly turning he fires and watches some creeps head snap back as the bullets impacted. The sound of gunfire opened the floodgates as 10 of the bosses men flood into the hallway. What followed was a symphony of screams, gunfire, and the snap of broken bones. Mg took four bullets during the fight. He reached out for the door. "Just one more person to kill he thought. I need to stay alive for just a couple more minutes. No big deal." Mg thought. His hand touched the door and he felt himself go out. The blood loss was too much. Mg's body crashed to the floor just a couple of inches from the room where Elizabeth was being tortured.*

Ganondorf: It can't be! Not yet!
Nemo: YAAAHHH!!!
Taking advantage of her opponent's distraction, Nemo teleported into the air above Ganondorf's head and threw a large fireball directly into his unprotected face. Crying out in pain, Ganondorf dropped to the ground stunned, while Nemo landed next to the body and gave the V for victory sign.
Nemo: That will teach you to mess with me and my Onee-sama!
With that, Nemo teleported to the temple entrance to check on how Miss Pellcia was doing, not noticing Ganondorf struggling to his feet behind her.

In the background, she could hear Rune humming to herself, as her little sister had stopped by for a short visit in between the advanced magick tutoring sessions Pug had been giving her in Midkemia.
On the panel, her eyes fell onto one line of words: "Hyrule". Shaking her head ruefully, as she only had rudimentary knowledge of that setting, and then only from fanfics, she turned to adjust the piloting controls again. She really should stop goofing around and return to work.

Pellicia ran after them. This wasn't how it was supposed to happen, at least one of them was supposed to enter her!
Upon reaching the doorway, the red energy stopped as if hitting a wall, bounced back, and began surrounding Pellicia as if trying to tie her up. After awhile of this, it entered her right hand, with a sensations awfully close to searing pain that slowly turned into pleasure.
Meanwhile, Nemo was knocked back by the green and the blue energies as she jumped towards them, trying to catch them for her onee-sama. She yelled at them as they disappeared into space.
The triforces of courage and wisdom were always closely linked, and as they entered space they remained entwined as they approached a spaceship in orbit around the planet.
The energy slipped through the hull of the Andromeda, both staying close to the floor and out of sight as they sought out their intended targets. The blue energy entered Rune's hand easily, her immutability masking any sensation that might have been caused.
The green energy entered the control panel right next to Tanith. The one that held the destination and location information. When Tanith touched it next, she felt a strange sensation. She felt calm and ready to head to the real destination as soon as possible. There was also a slight bit of pain connected with this, but nowhere near the kind Pellicia experienced. In her energized state, she didn't think much of it.

Putting on the VR goggles, she took the Andromeda out of the Hyrule universe.
*****
Rune blinked as she finally pulled her attention out of the thick tome she had been immersed in. She vaguely recalled her sister saying something about beaming down for some routine negotiations and being back in a short while. But she had been concentrating both her mental and metaphysical senses on her studies to register much.
Slowly, she closed the tome on music-based spellweaving, still turning over the procedure she had just been studying over in her head. Absently, she pulled back on her pair of transluscent pearl gloves. They had been a gift from the Midkemian elves on her last birthday, and were enchanted to help conduct magical energy safely for any new experimental spells that she might try out.
As she shunted the tome into her rift pocket, she went toward the mess hall of the Andromeda to find Meta.

Pellcia: Ha! Nobody attacks my number one fan!
Pellcia ran into the temple and before Ganondorf could recover she grabed him by the neck and tossed him against the nearest wall. Before, she might have though this to be a hard battle but now it was almost tp easy. She leaped over to him and stared at him cruelly.
Pellcia: Now, I want to know where my other triforce pieces want and I want to know NOW!!!
She send a powerful blow aimed at his chest, his ribs cracked and he let out a scream of pain. She bent over and checked his hand to make sure he did not get a piece. After she had made sure he did not have it she steped off him.
Pellcia: You're just lucky that I made a deal with CBY not to kill anybody. Otherwise they would be peeling your insides off the temple walls. But here's a little punishment for attacking my favorite assistant.
Pellcia send her foot down hard on Ganondorfs arm, snaping it. She did the same to one of his legs. Afterwards she steped out of the temple and towards Nemo.
Pellcia: Alright, Nemo did you happen to see those two glowing triforce pieces fly past here.
Nemo: They went that way Onee-sama. *She point's up into the sky*
Pellcia: I see, Come on Nemo.
Nemo: Wher are we going now.

Trusting them.
His eyes narrowed .
Evir Derricote and Geoff Tolwyn were both soliders used to taking orders .....thier exposure to Mind made thier loyalty to him unquestioned ... even now they were looking at him at attention faces stern .
His gaze continued on and fell on Yume and the recently repaired Hishima .
Though he had only the honor hold over her that was all that was needed. She would serve loyally if he was careful... Hishima would also never do anyhting to harm him and was a fine addition to his work .
Nodding he looked over to Demona .....who was scowling at him in human form arms crossed ..
Now we run in to troubles.... he thought ...not a day out of the infulence of Mind and already she is back to her grouchy self . Though Mind was the only blade he was able to recover after the Skuld mishap he had not used it on her again ...as a show of good faith ... promises to help her revenge herself on her enemies made her grudgingly agree to join his camp though she really didn't have a choice ... Still she would have to be carefully watched .
With that thought in mind he looked over to the last two . The mystery ....The engima ... Lord Krelian and Miang . His frowned deepened as he looked at them ... they looked back thier expersions unreadable . Damn them .... he could never be sure if Mind affected them or not .... Krelian seems to be going along with Jacob's work but Jacob felt that whenever he was around that he was looking at him , amused like a cat playing with a favorite toy .
He didn't like it ... he needed him and the Sense told him he was no threat ...he still didn't lke not knowing where his loyalties lay .. Miang was even worse . Bother .... well he couldn't dwell on it . He called the meeting to order . *
Jacob : Okay then take out your notes and we shall get started .

Jacob : Alright then lets get down to business . I would like status reports from all of you on the little homework assignments I gave out . Lev ? You first report on the troops ?
Lev :*standing up* Ready for the raid as ever master . As you know since before you left on those missions of yours they've been training nonstop through the program you gave them . I can account that every one of them knows it by heart ...They are ready for the real thing .
Jacob :*nodding* Good . This mission is very important .....and very dangerous ....we'll begin as soon as I am back to full strength. Status on the ship building docks ?
Lev: *nods toward Yume * Thanks to her we got them built in record time ...
Yume : *snorts* A simple task ...
Lev: Ahem.....anyway .....they are ready to build ....just as soon as you tell them what to build ....
Jacob : I think I'll hold off on that for a while Lev ..... thank you ...... you may sit .
*Lev slowly does so . Jacob turned his attention to Tolwyn and motions his hands upward . Tolwyn stood and began to speak *
Tolwyn : Well then sir. You had me work with Belyea the Engineer down on the planet. Your order for clone tanks arrived and were installed in the Tekka facility . With er..... reaquired genetic files from my last days with the Confederation we stated up a program of enhanced trained humans .. We after they were grown we moved them to the Tekka tanks . The first batch should be ready soon .
Jacob:Ready for the mission right out the tank ?
Tolwyn :*blinks * Er.... yes possibly.....but we havent tested them yet .....
Jacob: It will be fine ....think of it as on the field testing ....... you may sit ..... Yume .... status on those devices I asked for ?
Yume : Need you ask ?
Jacob : No I guess not .... at any rate you will join me when the mission begins ..... I'll be needing your services ....
Yume : *looking mildly annoyed * Fine ...
Jacob: Evir , Demona ....your project status .
* Evir begins to speak but Demona breaks in *
Demona : * scowls * What you are asking is impossible and makes no sense in the first place .. Why ask for research into something that cannot be made ?
Jacob : Humor me .....
Evir: *frowning at Demona* At any rate.... we've been doing a lot of research ... some based on my old work ... some based on the info you've given us ... we've consulted Kerilan for his expertise and Tolwyn .... we've study and formed some ideas and theories about what you want . However it would be alot easy without that woman's mumbo jumbo .
Demona :* Hisses her eyes glowing red .*Magic and science combined is a lot stronger than science alone human ....
Evir : Pfft....rubbish ....
Jacob : Actually I agree .....I find your lack of faith disturbing Evir ..... at any rate your orders are to explore ALL avenues in the Adam project .
Evir : Er ......yes sir ....
Demona : *smirks*
Evir: At any rate we've complied the data but have come up with nothing feasible by our standards .
Jacob :Do not worry about it being feasibe .... go beyond it far beyond it as far as you can persieve.
Demona : Why ? !! At this rate you would need something akin to a god to create Adam it's lowest level !!
Jacob : *looks at her his eyes ice cold* Just get me the data and let me worry about the details ......
Demona : *backing down from the look a litte * By the Maker...I hope you are not wasting my time human .
Yume : Excuse me . But what is Adam ?
Jacob : A part of my work .... let's leave it at that . It's not good for everyone to know everything .... eggs in one basket as the saying goes .
Yume : Hrrumph.....
*Jacob chuckled, then turned his gaze to Kreilan and Miang . The man just smiled and nodded .*
Jacob :I see ....
Demona: What ? What do you see ? What is he working on anyway ? They wouldn't tell us .
Jacob : * leaning forward * You want to know ? Ok . Well you see the thing is ........
Demona: Yes ?
Jacob: *raising a finger* It is a secret .
Demona :*facesfaults hitting the ground *
Jacob : * chuckling * So that's the appeal of that ... oh well ... at any rate you all know your tasks ... keep up the good work ... that is all ... Lev to my quarters. please ...
Lev : Yes Master ....
*Lev rose and went to the back of Jacob's wheelchair and began to roll him off ... Jacob stopped him next to Hishima *
Jacob: It's good to see you up and about Hishima ... It was a good fight ....I enjoyed it .
Hishima : Indeed ...
Jacob: Lets do it again later .... less serious this time ....
Hishima : If that is your wish .......
Jacob : It is .... Lev let's go .

Detective1: So what have we got?
Detective2: 9 bodies.
Detective1: So what is so strange? Seems just like a drug hit.
Detective2: The way the people were killed. For example the two bodies on the first floor. One of them had a toliet launched at his head and the other was decapitated with a blunt object. Just like someone ripped his head off.
Dectective1: Yeah, that is strange. So have we identifed the bodies?
Dectective2: We have identified 8 of them. 6 of them are just small time hoods. 1 is a pimp and a drug dealer and the last body is that of a prostitute. The last body is a John Doe. Fingerprints came back negative and no missing persons reports match him.
Dectective1: Seems open and shut to me then. Just a very brutal hit by a rival dealer. I have seen everything. Call in the morgue and have them pick up the bodies.

He said that he came from an alternate future time line, one where the human alliance was all but broken by the Swarm. His Technology was so advanced that the people in this time line had no other choice than to believe him. He was a Ghost, though his abilities greatly surpassed even the most competent of Ghost units.
His reflexes were estimated at being 20 times that of an average male, his accelerated healing and super dense skin made it impossible to judge how much punishment his body could take, it has been theorized that his healing factor would even regrow limbs if necessary. His mental defense was capable of warding off a level 5 beta - class mental attack, which was the most powerful that was ever recorded, he did it so casually, that warding off a stronger attack, would be plausible.
His strength level is also yet to be determined, when asked to take a strength test, he told us that it was pointless, and that his strength fluctuates, he did however tell us how his strength worked. His average bench press strength is roughly 75 xs that of an average male, 9 - 11 tons, give or take 500 pounds. What caught our attention the most was the fact that his base strength increases when stress level rises, or adrenalin is pumping threw his system. At his peak, he told our scientist that it was estimated at being 30 - 35 tons.
His memory was like no other that we've seen. Anything witnessed once, he can repeat exactly as before, voices, fighting techniques, long range accuracy, anything that can be duplicated with time, Nemar* can duplicate in seconds. His body also stores twice the amount of energy for the Ghost clocking abilities, his clocking is also inherent. The tech that he brought with him was a dimensional/time hopping device, pulse cannon, and two knuckle guarded 14 inches bladed knifes, of unknown material. None have seen the like of either 3.
At the age of 17, he is a killing machine that would put the Zerg Ultralisks to shame, perhaps even fight their queen. He told us that his old code name was 'World crusher'. Before we left Char's orbit, we could see why.
On the Planet Char
He was battling on the planet Char for almost 3 days now. What he thought was a small colony of Zerg, turned out to be a massive swarm, and with no communication to any outside cruisers, he was going to be on the planet for 2 weeks. "Damnit, first mission since the fall of the human empire back home, and I'm probably going to die because of these fools and their low ass technology." "Don't worry, this planet has very few Zerg on it, it should take you no time to wipe it out." "My ass."
About 4 hours ago, he was attacked by a small group of Hydrolisks and devourers, while fighting them, a massive psionic scream went off in his head like a bull horn. After killing them all, he's been walking in the direction ever since. In the distance, he saw a near endless swarm of Zerg, looking rather active... which could mean two things, they were either under attack, or attacking something. It crossed his mind before he entered the fray of Zerg that no matter how bad technology was, missing a planet full of Zerg was inexcusable. While he tore threw countless Hydrolisks he also thought that leaving him there with no aerial back up, for two weeks was also a very odd thing to do. While riding a Ultralisk to the main body of the fray, which he could now see was a lone man fighting for his life, he realized that sending him here was no accident at all, for some reason they wanted him dead, he'll have to survive to find out why...

"Yeah," said Dustin, his coworker. Clairsentience are hired by PaDT in order to monitor what goes on during the tours and check in with emmigrants and exchange students, just in case emergency help was needed. "But he's been working here for a long time. He's earned a bit of leeway. The ironic thing is he'd probably have been allowed total privacy if he'd just asked for it."
"Yeah," Lewis agreed. "Luckily the Gargoyles universe government hasn't reported any legal problems with random people, so we only need to check in on him once a week."
"So, how is he this week?"
Lewis looked surprised. "He's dead."
*****
Z-man reacted to the news with surprise. "Really?" he asked. "I thought he'd be able to take care of himself."
The next thing he did was to check in with Rommie.
"Rommie," he asked. "Do you have any record of Mg talking about his own death? Specifically, whether he wanted to be revived or not?" Considering how much time he spent on this ship, this was the best place to find out.
Rommie came back with no responses, So Z-man left for the Gargoyles universe.
*****
Clairsentience made it easy to find the body, but getting it out was the big problem. He used his teleportation to teleport the body out of the grave and onto the ground.
"Crap," Z-man swore. "He's too far decomposed to come back now. Maybe a cloned body might do it, if we put the brain in."
Z-mage put his Fenix Down in his backpack as he slung Mg's body over his shoulder and went to the Andromeda.
*****
It took about a week to get Mg back to life. No one had been brought back from a week's death before, so no one knew what to expect. They eventually decided that they'd lock him in a spare room and let Rommie's hologram explain it to him. After an hour, they'd know whether he was okay or not.

Jocasta: "I have programmed the teleport sequence. It can be activated at any moment."

Funny he thought he was on mission ....oh well he supposed even the deicated Hunter would take a break from any mission on this day. It was a defining day in thier lives ... It was not often ones birthday became a global day of mourning .No one could go through that without being affected someway .
Though he envined his transdeminsional brother a bit . He seemed to bear it better than himself . So he aviod the confrontation .... looking back on it ...he was glad .. He WANTED to come back to the original place......the place where it all began .
He looked around . Low turnout this year .... expected . Time dulls the pain and memory of all wounds even ones tramatic as this .... the not too recent bombings and dead invasions also help fade the memory a bit . All memory that is except his . Behind him Lev twitched nervously silent . Good ol Lev .
He walked forward to the memorial eyes gazing over the names etched in marble. He bent and placed a large pile of roses in front of it. Then he stepped back remaining slient for a moment. Then he spoke *
Jacob: Did you know I was born twice on this day Lev ?
Lev : Eh ? What do you mean ?
Jacob: Once I was born .....in Chicago a long long time ago , My body first gave breath in this world on this day . Then years later...here a darker part of me was born formed on this day ...that was a day of death . Facinating isn't it ? Two births in the same person on technically the same day ?
Lev: Er yes ......I think .
Jacob: My very being was defined on this day long ago. . Every year since then I never missed a chance to visit the memorial on this day . It used to be a lot more crowded .... I guess time makes people forget despite claims to the contrary. Oh they may look at the history texts ,say "oh how sad" then go about thier petty little lives . Will they ever understand the pain ? The true horror ? The meaning ? Doubtful ....
Lev: .....um I do not know master ....
Jacob : *sighs* .......
Lev : Master ....you said meaning what meaning ......?
Jacob : .....
Jacob :A lesson .....a very old lesson . You know after the attack there were many meaning and debates tossed about . Whether or not we deserved it . , things we could have done to prevent it ,Things that made it inevitable ....those sorts of things ... most were proven meaningless politcal falsehoods.....but there was one that held true . " Pride cometh before a fall. " We thought we were invincible .......and were proven wrong . That's the true meaning ... oh we debatably became stronger because of it but still it is a lesson well learned . A lesson even I am still learning today ......and a lesson that will be taught to others.
Lev: *rasies a brow * Will you be the one to teach that lesson ?
Jacob : ........
Lev: *cringes * Sorry ...
Jacob : No . It's fine Lev . Come we must return ..... we have a mission before us .
Lev : Yes Master ..... for what it's worth .....Happy Birthday .
Jacob: ...........Thank you Lev.
*They slowly began to walk away ....Jacob stopped and looked back for a moment *
Jacob: One last time ...... one last time to see it . Time causes people to forget .........but I will always remember .
* A gate opened before them and they stepped through *

Rommie: There seems to be a problem. Though Mg shows every sign of life, he is in a catatonic state. He shows no response to stimuli. I don't know what happened.
Written by Tanith 09-10-2002 05:41 PM
"What do you mean you don't know what happened?" he asked. "Surely all those meta-systems would tell you *something*."
Rommie sighed. "Apparently, Ms. Serra did not agree with my assessment. Perhaps you should ask her." She did not speak further.
Z-man blinked yet again. He decided not to press further on *that* topic. Whatever was between the AI and the demigoddess was frankly none of his business.
"Very well then." So saying, he walked into the infirmary. There, he saw the white magic planeswalker scrutinizing the still form of Mg. Serra looked up when he entered.
"So," he asked her. "Just what's going on here?"
Written by Mg_knt 09-11-2002 12:00 AM
Z-man:"Well can't you put his soul back?"
Serra:"No, His soul has already passed on to whatever afterlife he believes in."
Z-man:"Well, couldn't you make a new one?"
Serra:"I could but it wouldn't be the same, the personality would be different."
Written by Tanith 09-11-2002 10:58 AM
Serra shrugged. "I believe he belonged to one of the Earth religions that had a Heaven and a Hell. Tanith might know the details."
"Speaking of which," Z-man took a quick look around, "where is Tanith?"
"Planetside." The unexpected answer came from the intercom system of the Andromeda. "She should be returning from her negotiations soon."
"Then we wait," said Serra. "This should be interesting."
Written by Mg_knt 09-11-2002 06:37 PM
Serra:It would be an experince to say the least.
*Rommie suddenly chims in from the loudspeaker*
Rommie: Tanith has just boarded the ship.
Z-Man: Well, I better inform her of our sitituation.
*Z-Man leaves the medical bay heading towards the bridge to find Tanith*
Compiler's Notes:
1. The rest of the events following these last few posts take place in the next scene, which features the Sunnydale arc.
2.In a sorta-canon crossover, at about this time, CBY and Pellcia got in a tussle. As a result, CBY "neutralized Pell" and took the Triforce from her. Her child, Ishtar, was transferred into a cloning tank to finish fetal growth. Further, Pell has been placed under geas never to attempt multiversal domination again.

The irony of it all did not escape Arcadia as she stood a short distance away from the shadowy fortress deep in the Shadow Realm. But, as it had little to do with her current goals, she easily ignored the faint spark of humor in the situation.
She walked onward. Alone. She had little real need for the coterie she had gathered. Those shadow guardians and creatures that attempted to intercept her were dealth with causually as breathing.
Closer and closer, she approached her destination. Then, suddenly, she stopped. She stood still, her head tilted to the side as if listening to a far-off voice, unheedful of the creatures that still lurked further off in the shadows, staring at her with baleful eyes.
Patiently, she waited...

One of the two shades that had stood silently behind Shadowstalker's throne now spoke. It started with a soulless hiss that resembled laughter. "Someone comes, my lord? Perhaps the shadows are soon taken from you as you took my essence..."
"Shut up, Jada", Shadowstalker hissed angrily. The former Sith had eventually been driven from his mind by his own power of mental protection, and manifested through his shadow powers. Along with the shadow born ages ago in Ravenloft, she was helpless and bound to his will, but that didn't prevent her from speaking her opinion when her mind was more coherent. The other shadow servant never spoke, but both were equally powerful and Shadowstalker could see through their eyes when he wanted to, making them his two most efficient servants.
Shadowstalker watched as the girl walked through the barred gates and entered the castle courtyard.
....
Arcadia still waited. She could feel the presence of the one she seeked, and she could feel that presence become aware of her as well. The courtyard was now silent, as the shadows had stopped trying to attack her.
Then, a mass of shadows materialized in front of her, taking the form of a tall man. Arcadia could feel the shadow fabric tapped into with more skill and power she had ever imagined. She could see piercing red eyes looking at her, studying her every move. Briefly, the eyes flared more brightly, and then the man spoke.
....
Shadowstalker felt the sensation of familiarity again as he saw the girl up close. This time, however, it was even stronger, and besides his own power, he could feel something else in her... he could feel someone else's power in her. Suddenly, he recognized her. Memories of the hated Temptress flooded back to him as he understood. Of course. It had to be.
"Welcome, child", he spoke. "I've been expecting you."

Focusing back on her father, Arcadia was for the first time at a loss on what to do. The psychological imperative that had brought her here did not prepare her for what would happen afterwards.
But she had not come so far by being dimwitted. Quickly, she recovered from her pause as the gears in her Chaos-submerged mind. She had never been one for words, unless absolutely neccessary. But she also wasn't sure if mind-to-mind communication was possible here, considering what little she knew of her father's powers. Yet, she had to start somewhere...
With an even look, amber-lit eyes met Shadowstalker's own burning eyes.
"Well met, Father" Arcadia acknowledged him, in a voice of siren song (1). A small cold yet pleased smile tugged at the edge of her lips. "How have you fared all these years?"
Written by Jaffa 09-13-2002 05:13 AM
Shadowstalker was intrigued. For years he had traveled the Shadow Realm, amassing power and nurturing his hatred of those who whe saw as responsible for his suffering, but never had he even considered this. A child, born of the hated Dark Lady, but also of himself. Shadowlings had roamed a thousand dimensions looking for his enemies, and now, the girl came to him out of her own free will.
"I have suffered greatly because of the enemies of your mother, and mine", Shadowstalker replied. "And I have known pain. But I have also become strong in my search for revenge." He paused for a moment. "And you... you must have been fated to come to me, one way or another."
Arcadia stared back at him with her glowing eyes, her face revealing nothing of the turmoil inside her chaotic mind.
"You are here now," Shadowstalker continued. "You must want something. Perhaps... you wish to know more of your mother."
Arcadia tilted her head again, and then replied with a nonchalant nod.
A shadowling floated out of the misty shadows and whispered something into it's lord's ear. For a moment, Arcadia thought the red flame in her father's eyes shone more brightly again, but that was the only sign of emotion she could detect.
"My shades will show you to your quarters, daughter," Shadowstalker spoke. "Now, I have things to attend to, but you are free to roam my castle, and later we shall exchange stories."
Then he was gone, and the misty shadows where he had stood were dead and formless again.

She looked around... Black... black... black... a hint of dark gray... black... Her hand brushed along a nearby countertop... a blackish-grey layer of shadowy soot stained her long pale fingers...
A frown appeared upon Arcadia's pale brow. She knew the limitations of shadow-constructs well, but this is ridiculous! Eyeing the room again, she straightened in decision.
There was nothing else for her to do at the moment anyways. She might as well... decorate... this room given her. Indeed. A small smirk appeared on her lips. It was makeover time.

The shade had once been known as Darth Jada, and she had been a powerful Sith, strong in the Dark Side of the force. She had been a powerful person in the Empire, until she joined the Meddler's assault force sent to invade Ravenloft. That was when she first faced the monstrous Shadowstalker, a creature struggling as much with itself as the outside world.
She had challenged the creature to battle. Little had she known of the mistake she then made. Somehow, she had been sucked inside Shadowstalker's tortured being, foced to forever battle for the dominance of his confused mind. Or so she had thought. Eventually, as Shadowstalker ventured into the Demiplane of Shadow, his powers had increased even further. His own mind shield had begun assaulting the alien minds inside his head, driving them out of him, forced to manifest through his now much greater Shadow powers.
Darth Jada had thought that she had regained her freedom, only to find herself bound to Shadowstalker's will with unbreakable chains. She still had the Dark Side with her, as well as access to a fraction of her master's powers, but she was no longer her own master. The other shadow creature shared her fate, but it never spoke, never rebelled, it just stoically obeyed every command. Jada couldn't help but to wander what the creature had originally been - another one sucked inside as she had been? She would never know.
And now, as Jada fulfilled her mission as best she could, all she could think about was how she hated her lord. That was what she thought when she stepped out of the shadows on a dark alley in Sunnydale. She looked upon the great glass tower some distance away, and knew she had arrived to the right place.
She turned around, gazing into the shadows, where armies of shadowlings, fiends and wights stood behind her, ready to do their master's bidding.
Shade Jada gave the order to attack.

Slowly, the door to the room he'd assigned her swung open.
He took step inside. And stopped. And *stared*.
It was certainly *not* the room he'd assigned her. In fact, he was sure that no such room existed in his fortress at all.
Instead of the customary grim blackness and shifting greyness of the shadows that he'd become accustomed to, there was ominously glowing red and deep shaded blue. A huge bluish-purple crystal (he absently wondered where it had come from) stood on an upraised dais. Sweeping columns and overhead crystal-paneled ceilings overlooked a wide ballroom like floor.
As he slowly walked up the dais, Shadowstalker could only stare around himself numbly.
What in *blazes* has she done to my fortress?! Was the first coherent thought across his mind. And how did she fit all of this into the single room I assigned her?!
The next room he entered was far less... bold... in color. Earthen tones and wood-like structure created a scene that was like out of an oriental story. The intricately embroidered panels that jutted out from the walls only enforced the oriental tone of the room.
Striding forward, Shadowstalker finally pushed aside the last panel to face his wayward daughter.

Arcadia smiled innocently. "Well, I am your guest - aren't I, father?"
Shadowstalker could only wonder if his daughter was trying to manipulate him, or if she truly was an ordinary youth in some ways. "Our dinner is prepared", he said, deciding to worry about that later. "Perhaps we should eat here, if you like these surroundings better?"
Written by Tanith 09-15-2002 05:01 PM
Shadowstalker stared at her for a long moment, then started to reply. But a high pitched "meow" interrupted him. Looking down, he saw a tiny grey cat peeking out from behind Arcadia's legs, seemingly oblivious to its surroundings. (see pic)
Arcadia followed his gaze and shrugged. "A pet I picked up from the Azumanga universe. He's just a...... harmless...... cat."
Written by Jaffa 09-15-2002 05:36 PM
Shadowy servants came and brought foods and drinks stolen from several dimensions, though neither of them ate all that much.
In the end, it was Shadowstalker who asked the question. "So, you have come a long way to find me. What now?"
Arcadia found herself without a clear answer.
"I see your mother in you, you know", Shadowstalker continued. "She was a great woman who suffered a great injustice in the hands of her enemies."
This time, Arcadia nodded approvingly, though she still did not show any great enthusiasm.
"Perhaps that is why you found your way her at this time", Shadowstalker said. "To help me in my battle against those who wronged both me and your mother, whom I dearly loved."
Written by Tanith 09-15-2002 05:47 PM
Before she could elaborate, there was a sickening *CHOMP* from the side. Shadowstalker turned his head, to see the incongruous sight of the cat from earlier biting down on the hand of one of the shadow servants assigned to feed it. Despite the shadowy substance the shade, the cat's teeth nevertheless found purchase on it.
Without looking at her wayward pet, Arcadia reached out with her powers and picked it up by the scruff of it's neck, while also releasing the servant from its teeth. She lifted it into her arms, and it promptly purred and dozed off in her lap.
Returning to the conversation as if nothing had happened, Arcadia continued speaking. "And just who are these foes...?"

Shadowstalker looked at Arcadia. "I had other plans, but now that you're her... I have a perfect job for you. I need someone to go to Sunnydale. Not to fight the mirror-people, that's why Jada is there. I need someone who knows how to observe secretly. Someone wha can gain information on them."
Arcadia met Shadowstalker's gaze. "I... think I see."
"We will stand in the shadows and watch the self-appointed heroes operate. Whether they win or lose, we'll have tracked them down. Then we can strike straight at their homeworlds."
Written by Tanith 09-15-2002 06:31 PM
She then gave Shadowstalker a piercing look. "But what if your forces were to... lose... this battle? Are we to intervene then? Or are they... expendable?"
