DORN (Dwarves)

The Dorn are a race that are fighting a war almost unknown to the rest of the world. The Kells and Elves may have heard of the race called  kronns from dwarven refugees, but the Dorn have seen their putrid forms and watched their destruction for the last hundred years. The Dorns have but one last bastion, the Last Hold, to hold back the tide of the planer invaders.

PERSONALITY

The Dorn where a peaceful people, but the kronns changed all that. The typical Dorn places clan and family above all else. They trust in their own race almost blindly but other races they have to warm up to. Once a Dorns trust is earned, they will stand between sword point and death for an ally. They are fond of working with their hands and telling great tales of Dorn heroes past.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

The Dorn range from 4.5 to 5.5 feet in height. The men are generally slightly stocky, while the women are less so. They have a deep tanned complexion with dark hair. The features that distinguishes them the most from the other races is their beards, worn in a fashion that distinguishes one clan from another, and their milky white eyes that have no sign of pupils.

RELATIONS

The dwarves have no like or dislike for the other races of Arram. There are many dwarven refugee families scattered across Arram. These families have left the war torn hell of the Last Hold to raise their families in relative safety.

DWARVEN LANDS

The Last Hold is all the Dorn have left to call their own. During the Breaking, many holds where lost completely to the Grey. After the breaking, the kronns appeared, and wiped out almost all the other holds left. The dwarves pooled their resources and held the kronns back at the Last Hold. Today they fight a daily battle to keep the kronns contained. Many dwarven refugees have found their way across the various cities and villages of Arram.

RELIGION

The Dorn hold to the belief in the Asgrind pantheon.
