Sir Johan Belzor

From the lands of Harak emerged Sir Johan Belzor, the Hand of Blood, a once-loyal Knight whose life took a dark turn during the harrowing events of the Corvase Massacre. In what was once called Vordan, Johan's journey into vengeance began.

Once a devoted servant to king and country, Johan's allegiance shattered when he accompanied Corvase on what he believed to be a retaliatory strike. Witnessing the ruthless massacre of innocent elves, including women and children, Johan's nobility turned into a brutal confrontation with the malevolent Corvase himself. Left disfigured and near death, he was miraculously saved by an elven healer, marking the genesis of his unrelenting quest for revenge.

Johan's personality underwent a profound transformation. Once characterized by decency and compassion, he now bore the weight of harshness, cruelty, and an uncaring demeanor. His motivation was clear, to see Duke Corvase as helpless as the innocent elves were during the massacre and then to destroy him. He has planned a relentless campaign, to attack the Duke's villages and holdings, utilizing all the power at his disposal to overcome his former liege.

Earning the moniker "the Hand of Blood," Johan's reputation precedes him. His brutal methods involve using gauntlets and the blood of his victims to write messages to Corvase, a macabre practice that fuels the terror he seeks to instill. His appearance, marked by scars that tell the story of his torment, feature a mockery of his country's armor and a large sword that he wields effortlessly.

Johan, when in Arethane, trained with Elven Paladins of the War Goddess Larini for several years, gradually building a force of Elves and humans with a shared goal, to hunt down and rid the world of Corvase. While his quest may be justifiable, Johan's actions know no bounds as he leaves a trail of blood and chaos in his wake, a relentless force seeking retribution for the horrors he had witnessed. A cautionary tale with a singular message "be careful of the Monsters you seek less you become a monster yourself".
