Born in the Kingdom of Arethane, Darath Hawksong was destined for a life of service. His parents, fervent supporters of the kingdom's values, raised him with a deep sense of duty. His youth was marked by an innate desire to protect the innocent and uphold the kingdom's honor.

Darath's commitment to justice led him to the sacred order of paladins. His initiation marked the beginning of a promising journey, his sword sworn to defend the innocent and uphold the kingdom's noble values. Among the order, he distinguished himself as a paragon of honor.

Approached by Captain Delphine Gwydian , recognizing the potential within Darath, the concept and reason for the Order of the red Hand was explained to him and he was offered a place to servive his Kingdom and the Gods in a most special yet clandestine way. Seeing an opportunity to serve Arethane in the shadows, Darath agreed to join their ranks, donning the guise of a fallen paladin. His true allegiance, however, remained unwaveringly tied to the kingdom he continued to safeguard. Within days of his acceptance, unknown forces were set to tarnish Darath's name. Supposedly Framed for crimes he did not commit, he found himself cast out from the order he held dear. This orchestrated fall, while a blow to his reputation, was a sacrifice willingly made to become a hidden guardian.

In the shadows, Darath transformed, not into a fallen soul, but into a veiled guardian. He embraced the covert role thrust upon him.
