In the heart of tumultuous fate, Shaudrin Bloodmyst emerges, a figure bound by an accursed ring that wove the threads of his destiny into a tapestry of darkness. Born in Retheme, a duchy of Arethane, Shaudrin is a Half-Elf, the product of an unholy union between his mother, a cousin of Trystan Ariquis, and an unknown Human Mercenary whose name is lost to the shadows of Shaudrin's enigmatic heritage. Once a man, Shaudrin's life took a malevolent turn when a cursed ring, steeped in eldritch magic, enveloped him in its maleficent grip and transformed Shaudrin into a female as well as causing him to go insane. The insidious enchantment twisted his form, reshaping him into a woman, and left him forever marked by the supernatural forces that now ensnare him. The cursed transformation is a constant reminder of the eldritch powers that guide her both in physical form and in the twisted complexities of her allegiance to the malevolent Church of Agrik.. Shaudrin bears the knowledge of his connection to Rhysanus, a distant cousin, with a stoic detachment. Rhysanus, once a worshipper of the Church of Agrik, betrayed Agrik for another god, and is now a powerful enemy, well beyond the reach of Shaudrin's vengeance. The intricate web of family ties only serves as a fleeting thought in Shaudrin's mind, overshadowed by the dark currents of his allegiance to Agrik. Shaudrin take full advantage of his new body and often uses it to bait unsuspecting victims to feed to his bloodthirsty god. In his insanity he has turned it into a twisted game. Each Victim will be strung along fow weeks as Shaudrim plays his games making the victim love him, and on that fateful day she sacrifices the poor fool to Agrik at then end of her cerimonial copper hook. Shaudrin's devotion is pledged to Agrik right to his very soul. The blood god is violent and tempestuous, thrives on chaos, breeding war, pestilence, famine, and death to separate the weak from the strong. For Agrik, might makes right, and the strong are obligated to rule the weak. Shaudrin wholehartedly accepts this and more. Prophecy foretells that Agrik will trigger the final conflict between the gods by breaking the Concordant of the Illimitable Tome and launching a direct assault on Larani. This apocalyptic event will mark the end of the world, a cataclysmic clash fueled by Agrik's insatiable hatred for the goddess of order and chivalry. Shaudrin fully expects to be present for this event. An arsenal of destruction said once to be wielded by Agrik, has found their way into Shaudrin's posession. Shaudrin finds great inspiration and purpose these artifacts of the church, and often find themselves being used by Shaudrin, who as a devoted BloodSeeker, channels the malevolence of these instruments in service to his dark deity. Gashang, the great burning mace, sets ablaze all it touches; Syncanus, the sickle of anguish, reaps hearts and souls; Armahnh, the flaming whip, unleashes thunderous strikes, evoking the baleful music of pain as just a few of the artifacts held. Entrenched in the malevolent heart of the Church of Agrik, Shaudrin leads the Company of the Copper Hook. This fighting order is dedicated to the obliteration of the Kingdom of Kanday and the despised Order of the Checkered Shield. Headquartered in Hyen Keep deep within the the mountains in Rethem, the Copper Hook once stood as a formidable military force, a harbinger of doom that casts its ominous shadow over all. However much of the order was desimated in the Transition of Retheme's relocation to Otara from Harn. In the service of Agrik, Shaudrin orchestrates the machinations of chaos, recruits new soldiers and through pain and unrelenting torment drives into each a desire to bring about the prophesied end, where Agrik's vengeance will reshape the world in its malevolent image. |
