Throg Throgsson, the once ruthless and deadly plains troll mercenary turned bartender, has undergone a significant transformation under the influence of a fellow troll named Torock Dragonslayer. Formerly known for his disregard for life, Throg has put his mercenary days behind him and now tends the bar at the Black Rose Inn.
Torock's mysterious influence set Throg on a new path, leading him away from a life of indiscriminate killing. While he remains a skilled warrior, Throg no longer feels the need to take lives, except when facing the undead or what he perceives to be undead creatures. His troll-sized meat cleaver, kept razor-sharp and perfectly balanced for throwing, serves as a reminder of his past.
Throg is also a fair cook, although patrons are advised not to inquire about the origin of the meat used in his dishes. Working for Leeistra, whom he affectionately calls "Da new Boss Lady," Throg initially started under the employment of Sleanra, the former owner of the Black Rose Inn. Despite his violent history, Throg has become fairly well-accepted in the City of Teradryn.
While he may still have a couple of guardsmen following him around when running errands in town, Throg has shifted from a feared mercenary to a more subdued and respectable figure in the community. His journey from a bloodthirsty warrior to a bartender with a troubled past adds an intriguing enigma to this individual.
