The pantheon of the Seldarine is made up of many Gods and Goddessess all of who have their own aspects and portfolio's of responcibility, which means that the structure of the temple varies from God to God. However there are some commonalities that govern over the whole.
Heirarchy
- Lyn'Estair (High Seeker): The Lyn'Estair is the hightest ranking religious figure of the People and representitive of the entire Seldarine. The Position of Lyn`Estair can technically be filled by a Cleric from any of the various Gods of the Seldarine but by tradition is typically selected from the Church of Corellon Larethian or from the Non specific Seldarine Clerics. Upon elevation to this rank the appointed swears service to all the Seldarine if they are swore to only one God. The Lyn`Estair guides the Valdatha'ta`Te`Estairin (Council of Primates) and
with the council sets policy and doctrine for the entire Seldarine. The Seat of the Lyn'Estair resides in the Great temple complex in Teradryn, the Capital City of A ritha n .
- Valdatha'ta`Te`Estairin (Council of Primates): The Valdatha'ta`Te`Estairin is the governing body of the Church of the Seldarine and is made up of the Se`Estair and Te`Estair of each of the Gods of the Seldarine's individual Churches.They are lead by the Lyn'Estair and set policy and doctrine for the entire Seldarine. The Council Chamber of the Valdatha'ta`Te`Estairin is in the Great temple complex in Teradryn, the Capital City of A ritha n .
- Te`Estair (Primate): The Te`Estair is the ecclesiastical leader of an individual God's church within the Seldarine. They set Policy and Doctrine for their respective Churchs in accordance to the guidance of their God, as well as the Lyn`Estair and the Valdatha'ta`Te`Estairin.
Se`Estair (Primate): The Se`Estair is the ecclesiastical leader of all the churchs within the Seldarine. They set Policy and Doctrine for their respective Churchs in accordance to the guidance of the Seldarine, as well as the Lyn`Estair and the Valdatha'ta`Te`Estairin.
- Ti`Estair (Prelate): The Ti`Estair is the Regional leader of an individual God's church and answers directly to the Te`Estair. The Ti`Estair also co-ordinates the efforts amd interactions of both the Clerical Branch and Militant Arm of Paladins within the region.
Si`Estair (Prelate): The Si`Estair is the Regional leader of an individual God's church and answers directly to the Se`Estair. The Si`Estair also co-ordinates the efforts amd interactions of both the Clerical Branch and Militant Arm of Paladins within the region.
- Te`Estia/Te`Estiana (High Priest/Priestess):The Te`Estia/Te`Estiana is the leader of an individual temple to a specific God within a region and administers the religious needs of the cummunity and the Clerical staff under that temple.
Se`Estia/Se`Estiana (High Priest/Priestess):The Se`Estia/Se`Estiana is the leader of an individual temple to all the Gods within a region and administers the religious needs of the cummunity and the Clerical staff under that temple.
Te`Adrashtai (Paladin General): The Te`Adrashtai is the leader of an individual Commandery to a specific God within a region and co-ordinates the activities and training of Paladins stationed there.
Se`Adrashtai (Paladin General):The Se`Adrashtai is the leader of an individual Commandery to all the Gods within a region and co-ordinates the activities and training of Paladins stationed there.
- Ta`Estia/Ti`Estiana (Priest/Priestess): The Estia is a fully trained Cleric who has sworn to a particular God.
The Sa`Estia/Sa`Estaiana is a fully trained Cleric who has not sworn to a particular God.
Ta`Adrashtai (Palladin):The Ti`Adrashtai is a fully trained Paladin who has sworn to a particular God.
The Sa`Adrashtai is a fully trained Palladin who has not sworn to a particular God.
- Estia/Estaiana (Monk):The Estia is a fully trained Cleric who may or may not have sworn to a particular God.
Adrashtai (Palladin Squire):The Adrashtai is a fully trained Palladin who may or may not have sworn to a particular God.
- Learin (Acolyte): The Learin is a student cleric or palladin who trains to become a full cleric or Palladin. The are not dedicated to an individual God and are therefore in service to the entire Seldarine.
Each God and Goddess of the Seldarine has temples of one form or another through out the various regions of the Kingdom be they stone or wood structures or natural/outdoor formations or glades. |
