Strength and Honour

In days gone by, I had a friend
Who taught to me from start to end,
The lessons I would need to be a Knight,
To see the difference between wrong and right
And the meanings of Strength and Honour.

My Friend has gone now to the summer Lands
And has left his teaching to other hands.
His guidance and brotherhood a thing of the past
But there is a gift of his that will last.
His example of Strength and Honour

My brother Forgan has left my side
My mentor, my friend, my Knight has died
I feel his absence, a cut to my soul
But move ever onward, to fulfill a goal,
To live my life as he taught, a life of Strength and Honour.
