A Viking

Let the Forge fires burn and hammers ring,
My brother goes off a Viking.
His glory shall grow with every telling
My Brother goes off a Viking
Let the horns be blown and runes be read,
My brother goes off a Viking.
Let his foemen tremble and cower with dread,
My Brother goes off a Viking.

Let the sails unfurl and oars be struck,
My Brother goes off a Viking
We pray to you Loki to grant him good luck,
My Brother goes off a Viking
We call on you Thor to fight at his side
My Brother goes off a Viking
We beseech you Odin to act as his guide
My Brother goes off a Viking

With a thirst for life and a hunger for fun,
My Brother goes off a Viking.
We know without doubt that his battles are won
My Brother goes off a Viking.
With a Song in his heart and smile for all things,
My Brother goes off a Viking.
Let the Dragons roar and Valkyrie sing
Mighty Ragnar has gone a Viking.
