Similar to the Sacrifice, the Trial of Blood requires that the student kill a loved one to succeed. However this trial is far more sinister as the trial stipulates that the loved one ths student must kill is the person he loves most and holds dearest in his heart. Unlike the sacrifice which allows for the killing to be done by another so long as the hopeful is involved this killing it must be done by the Student's own hand and proof of the deed must be brought back.
