Vyoma walked to the door and looked at the one who opened it. The walk to this place had taken him to different places, but the ambience gave him some dark vibes. He hoped to get job. He thought the chaos here would provide him with one or the other.

Vyoma cleared his throat. It had been long time since he had needed to talk in a length. It was usually him who answered questions and he would answer in monosyllables.
Vyoma thought his clearing of throat was too loud and thus paused before he found it safe to proceed. He looked straight ahead and talked as though he was talking to his fate,
"I am not here for any tattoo, that I should be clear about. I am here in search of a job. A job that would require the skills of a unskilled one."

Oh Boy! That was not that hard!

Vyoma was surprised at the length of the talk that had spilled of his mouth. He took a deep breath and waited for the consequences.

Face anything as it comes!

Quick Ki'Tera
Ben the ratta rodenti eligible bachelorette of Medonia who never seemed to be able to make it into an Article of the Suns sighed softly when Vyoma entered her tattoo parlor. He wished not for a tattoo, but that was sad news for Ben. She wanted to tattoo up some nice elfin man's muscles, or even if arse if the fates were kind to her. Beady eyes, no nice teeth, an unhealthy smell, Ben was a ratta who possessed a kind and beautiful soul and yet her exterior core screamed outerwise. No man would fancy the poor Ben.

She approached Vyoma. If she were fate then fate was ugly.

"Serale boy. A job eh? Sure? We will take a clerk. Lately, business has been... let's just say as smelly as orc feces. Stinks! I will offer you a job for 50 crowns a cycle and if you wish, some tattooing skills. It doesn't matter. But I wish for you two find me at least two new customers before you start working for me. How does that sound, boy?"

Ben gave the elf a wink and waited for a response.

Vyoma

"Some tattooing skills you say, but I have, as I know none. But as I have come to know, it seems to be a form of art and at art I feel I am inherently adept at. You instruct me of the equipment and I would surely be handy, so I feel."

Vyoma took a deep breath and then considered the second part of the cohesion of words that fate, the ugly fate had uttered to him.

Find customers. An unknown land and unknown culture. Would I find even one, let alone two. Let me commit to it and let the fate decide. It gave me the deed to the house I own now. It has taken me this far. It will surely take me farther. But to where?

Vyoma let his tongue flow around with more confidence and said, "I'll try to get the customers to you. I interact less with people and so I do not know. But I can assure you I will surely try."

Too much to let go for the fate. :mad:Need to take control. But for now...

The agony barely emerged on his calm face. He then said, "But I can tell you one thing for sure. Let me tattoo and you should have more customers, nominal or not."

Vyoma seemed to finish talking and then waited for his 'Fate' to reply.

Quick Ki'Tera
ooc: what's with the mischievous eyes, huh?

ic:

Ben was not exactly a stupid ratta despite her physical appearances. She might smell and look uglier than sin and decay but the woman still had a mind. The Rodenti race were not a race of idiots.

She shook her ratta head.

"I will let you tattoo, surely enough, but still, I require that you take two cycles of lessons and then practice for at least a month. Then I'll consider handing the shoppe over for you to look after."

And mayhaps even own it if Vyoma played his cards right.

"When you have time, boy, come back for lessons. I will also be waiting for my customers. ( ooc: preferably pcs so vyoma has something to do) Any questions, boy?"

If he didn't want the woman to call him boy, he should have told her his name in an introduction. Perhaps Vyoma needed lessons in mannerisms too, Ben thought to herself with a smirk on her furry face. Still, she found the boy handsome and wished him luck secretly. What Ben would do, ah, to see the boy every brightening in her shoppe.... Mwhaha!

Vyoma
Vyoma never minded the mannerism.

It is always what is beneath the skin, that matters.

There was nothing much Vyoma could say and he said,
"I'll be back in a cycle, with or without customers. It is up to you to decide about the concequecne later. You give me lessons or you shine your shoes, wacking it on my hind quarters."

Vyoma paused for a while and then turned around with a nod to the lady. He walked to the door. He would surely be back by next cycle, customers or not.

Customers or not.

Vyoma looked out the door and thought much has been done for today. He would take a sleep back home and then go on a search for entities ready to take needle on their skin for sake of art.
