Magical Spell/Power Ranks
After a character knows how many spells or powers he has, he needs to know their spell/power rank. The rank for each is rolled separately below. Sometimes this rank will not matter, but usually the spell's effectiveness, range, duration, etc. depends on it. This is the maximum "strength" at which this character can use this spell when he begins the campaign. (For more on magical spell usage see the HOW SPELLS ARE CAST and MAGIC USE AND COMBAT sections.)
