Character Personality: The product of roaming enterprising parents (who could give the Ferengi a run for their money), Elise joined Starfleet to gain some stability. Her initial interest in the stars was began because she spent so much time in space, her unruly and sometimes unscrupulous parents, meant that as her teenage rebellion set in she became more ordered in her thinking. Elise's tastes are conservative, however, her thinking is not. She has a wide cultural knowledge and this gives her a broad base of understanding, however, she does not suffer fools gladly. Elise hides more than she shows.

Character Education: Largely self-taught, with a variety of tutors from different cultures. Elise sought the help of Captain Benjamin of the USS Skater to enlist into Starfleet. The entrance exam proved no problem for Elise and after graduation she spent several years gaining her higher degrees based in San Francisco. This gave Elise a chance to ground herself after her nomadic existence.
Character History: Born in London her opportunistic parents followed Starfleet ships making contact with first contact civilisations. From there her parents would export artefacts to the black market, but covered themselves by having a legal business venture as the outward reason for their being on the planet. So far Starfleet and Federation officials have not been able to prove any wrongdoing. Elise has always had the knowledge that what her parents were doing was wrong, but felt loyalty to them not to divulge their real business. The suspicions of Starfleet and the Federation meant that she had to prove herself doubly hard at Starfleet and to show that her intentions were true, however, it still meant that there were some lonely times for her. Elise is not ashamed of her parents, but out of necessity of her position she keeps them at arms length. After spending time in San Francisco, Elise was assigned to Deep Space Seven as an assistant to the Chief Science Officer, after a year her nomadic tendencies came to the fore again and Elise applied and joined the science vessel the USS Marie Currie from where she has made her application to join USS Galactic.
