This is what it is: the instrument in its origional case

This is everything included with the bassoon upon purchase: the bassoon (of course, hehe), 4 cleaning tools, a seat strap, a neck strap, two bocals (one needs a new cork), and a brand new medium soft reed. (Telephone and cigarettes not included . . . hehe)

This is the bassoon fully put together and lying on my floor. (Only place I could get an entire shot of it!)

And this is the origional case. No, it's not pretty, but everything is intact. The clasp on the left does not lock in the mechanism properly, but you can fold it down. The case will not fall open or hang open partially. The handle is compeletely intact as are the hinges.

Please let me know if you are still interested! After my eBay auction closed I got several emails about it. This bassoon was also placed for auction at www.auctionport.com because I was getting no views or bids on eBay. To be fair (and legal!) I have to let the auction run its course (of 30) on Auction Port. And since I'm getting a few interested buyers, I think this would be a fair way to do this. The opening bid still stands at $1,000.
