Book Delays

L.J. Smith fans, rejoice: The Vampire Diaries
and The Secret Circle, two of her most popular and best-selling
sets, have been reprinted, or are in the process of being reprinted. There
is a catch, however. Where you live might determine how readily you can
get the books.
Many members who live overseas -- in Ireland and
Australia, respectively -- have told commented that neither series has
been reprinted there yet, and they can't find out when, or if, they will
be. All four volumes of The Vampire Diaries seem to be available
in the United States, as is the first volume of the three-part The Secret
Circle.
In Canada, The Vampire Diaries are available.
The reprinted version of The Secret Circle: The Initiation, volume
one of the trillogy, can be ordered on-line from either Chapters site depending
on your location: http://www.chaptersglobe.com
or http://www.chapters.ca.
Volume I of The Secret Circle will usually
ship in three to five weeks, in which time it should also start appearing
on the shelves of Chapters stores. Volume II is listed as "Not Yet Available."
The reprints of The Vampire Diaries can also be ordered on-line,
shipping in approximately 24 hours, or can be bought from any Chapters
outlet. Smaller bookstores, such as Coles or Smithbooks, seem to have no
listings of either reprinted series.
