PBL: It’s very nice of you to speak with me, Mr. Descouedres.

Thierry: Please don’t be so formal Ms. MacLeod. Call me Thierry and I will call you Cyntharian OK?

PBL: Of course.  Thierry, several Circle Daybreak members have concerns about the Old Powers rising again. Can you tell what you know about this situation?

Thierry: Sure Cyntharian.  What we know about the Old Powers so far is that us Night People are becoming stronger with more power.  Also, more of us are finding human soulmates.  That is all we really know for sure at this time.

PBL: You probably already know what my next question is about Thierry.  What is going on with the Wild Powers right now?

Thierry: (laughs) Yes, quite a number of people have asked me that question. Right now, Circle Daybreak has three of the four Wild Powers.  They are all hidden in safe places.

PBL: Do you have any leads on the fourth?

Thierry: Well, we have some leads Cyntharian, but I would rather not reveal any other information at this time.

PBL: That’s understandable, but we really didn’t just want to answers to these questions.

Thierry: You wanted to know more about me right?

PBL: (laughs) You are really good at reading minds.

Thierry: I have been doing it for a long time now. What exactly did you want to know?

PBL: Well, my first question is about Maya.  Some people say you killed her, others have said Hannah Snow did, and others say she is still alive.  So, what exactly is the truth?

Thierry: Hannah killed her.  Maya was going to stake me while my back was turned.  Hannah lunged at her with a stake. So, Maya is dead.

PBL: So this means...

Thierry: This means that the cycle is broken and Hannah and I will spend entire lifetimes together from now on.

PBL: Ever since we started talking about Hannah your spirits have lifted. Why is that?

Thierry: You must not have found your soulmate Cyntharian. Once you do, you will know exactly why my spirits have risen.  Hannah is the other part of me.  She understands when no one else does. It’s something you will understand once you find your soulmate.

PBL: If you don’t find them?

Thierry: You will keep searching for them lifetime after lifetime.

PBL: Just one more question Thierry. Do you hope that good will win over evil in the final battle?

Thierry: I can’t hope that it does. It has to win. Otherwise, we will all cease to exist.  Right now, we have to focus on winning, losing isn’t an option.

PBL: Thank you so much for taking time out to talk with us Thierry.

Thierry: No problem, I wanted to ease everyone’s fears about the upcoming battle.

PBL: Thanks Thierry. All of us Daybreakers appreciate your time.

PBL: What do you mean?

     Thierry said nothing else.  He rose from his chair and walked to the door.  As he got to the door he turned around and smiled.  Then Thierry Descouedres was gone.
