Another Blue Heron Production...

The Weekly Report

4-13-2001. With the water temperature anywhere from 65 to 75 degrees, the Striper fishing has started to pick up on Lake Murray. There has been some schooling action out in the middle of the lake around Bomb Island early in the morning and late in the evening. Spring is cutbait time. Double anchor your boat on points and humps in 5 to 20 feet of water and cast fresh cut herring all around your boat. Keep a courteous distance from each other and we'll all catch more fish. Try in the back of Big Hollow creek, Bear Creek, and Crystal Creek  As the water temperature begins to rise, the Striper fishing IS getting better.

Look at the fish from this week here. You better call us soon if you want to in get on some good fishing!

-Capt. Randy
