Madness are
Suggs, Chaz Smash, Kix, Monsieur Barso, Bedders, Woody and Chrissy BoyFounded in the late seventies, they were originally known as the North London Invaders, performing in such places such as The Dublin Castle, The Hope and Anchor and The Electric Ballroom in and around Camden Town.
They came to my attention in 1980 with Baggy Trousers, and ever since, I have become entranced with the Nutty Sound.

RETURN OF MADNESS
Madness are due to release a new album this year, and the first single release will be 'Lovestruck' on Monday 19th July 1999. The assoicated album called 'Wonderful' should be released on 11th October 1999 also.
They are due to play 'Party in the Park' for The Princes Trust on 4th July 1999 at Hyde Park. You can catch up with the events right here.
Although the Hackney Empire gigs have been cancelled it is hoped for some kind of 20th Anniversary celebrations.
TV appearances are plenty - Friday 23rd July - Top of the Pops, and Saturday 24th July - CD:UK.
