Mr Dubious

Mr Dubious lives somewhere close
he's never entirely sure
of what it is that everyone knows
because he always sees a flaw
it might be that the wings are bent
or the last word doesn't fit
perhaps that there's a different beat
or not room enough to sit
Mr Dubious lives alone 
because he is in doubt
he doesn't believe what he hears
even if you shout
half of what he sees is false
the other is over rated
he doesn't like to admit the good
in what he sees created
so if you see Mr Dubious
ask him to look above
to the sky that's blue and the sun that shines
and the day that he'll find love
