Will you keep the dark as well
to give the light some meaning?
will you keep the broken shell
or the duster after cleaning?
or will you scare the dark away
to bring the light as though it were day
will you look when all is clear
at the scars the darkness hid
or will you shy, with the fear
of Pandora, lifting the lid
