All of us live in South Carolina and drive down Friday for a weekend to
hunt. So we got together and fixed up a 10' x 20' Used camper that
need some work done it. This way we don't have to get a
motel room every time you go down. The people we leased the property
from let us place the camper inside of 25' x 25' building that was not
being used at the time, so we have our skinning area, feeders stored
during season which was real nice to have to store all the thing inside
out of the weather! When we started the club we used a generator with
1500 watts out put, within 2 years we got electricity. There is nothing
like having all the Comforts of home, TV, Hot water, Shower, Stove, Oven,
Refrigerator, Light, Heat. We only have 4 members in this club and our
lease is 1,000.00 a year. We do expect to get more acreage this year
that we can hunt for free.
At this Club we do not have 4 wheeler on the property.
If you want to get to your stand we use one of the ATV Golf carts. This
Golf cart will go through some rough stuff. But it can get stuck too!
But that is why it best to have a small winch on the front of one of them.
The Golf cart is Total Electric so that means there is no engine noise.
I have been driving to and from the stand with deer standing right in the
road in front of me. 1 charge will last me all weekend, which the range
is about 35 miles on a flat surface, such as a road. When you get into running
over logs and stumps it uses a little more juice. But if you want to use it
all day it will keep it charged.
