    American Economics Association Summer Training Program - University of Texas - Austin, Texas
    Coursework included Intermediate Microeconomics, Econometrics, and Applied Econometric Analysis. Linear and nonlinear regression analysis was studied with great detail. Also, statistical software packages such as SAS an TSP were introduced and implemented in a research project on issues affecting the African American middle class.

    Duties included investigating and communicating ways to increase unsatisfactory productivity in my assigned department, supervising Industrial Staff, designing work stations for Industrial Staff, updating job processes, rebalancing rates for work areas, and compiling statistics for the New York Environmental Protection Agency.

    Duties included loading packages on to mass-delivery trucks, reading all package addresses to assure prompt delivery to customers, working with others in my work area as a team to insure the success of entire work area, and working in a safe manner.

    Researcher - National Science Foundation: South Carolina Alliance for Minority Participation (SC-AMP) in the Sciences - Benedict College/University of South Carolina - Columbia, South Carolina
    Duties included researching, operating, and testing a Thermatrix, Inc. Fugitive Emission Control System, operating a Hewlett Packard Gas Chromatograph, preparing hazardous gas samples for testing, preparing progress report for company (Thermatrix, Inc.), cleaning lab equipment, and working with specialists in certain areas needed to complete research.
