Greetings, good gentles. My name is Nimue Zarine Tallanvor, wife to the
fair Perrin Tallanvor. I lost my parents to the Saxon invaders at the
tender age of 7 and was brought up by the Lady's priestesses on the sacred
Inis Witrin (Isle of Glass), learning the ways of the Lady and preparing myself for
marriage. I travel with my lord as he did before we wed. I have hopes that we shall settle in the Summerlands one day, but I fear my lord shall travel 'till he can move no more. The sun sets. I must hasten to prepare the

Hello, my name is Crystal Bettenhausen and I'm here to tell you about
Nimue's mundane life. I currently reside in Ionia, Michigan with my parents,
sister, and brother. And my two kittens. At the moment, I am attending Judson
College in Elgin, Illinois to study secondary education stressing English and music education.
I love to read, especially fantasy and classic British literature. I am a
poet, artist, and a musician. I play piano, clarinet, alto clarinet, and I
sing. I don't generally play sports, but I love to be outside and it usually
doesn't take too much twisting of the arm to get me to go do something.
If you asked someone to describe me, you'd probably get a description that
runs something like this. Nice, funny, honest, hard-worker, always willing to
help, smart, and weird. Well, short would probably be in there somewhere, also.
It seems everyone likes to pick on me, but it's not too bad because I pick right
back and quite often I get the better of them.
I think I've said about everything that needs to be said, except for
talking about the most important person in my life. His name is Andrew
Wolthuis, aka Perrin Tallanvor. In the SCA, we are husband and wife, but in the
mundane world, we've not gotten that far. Give us a couple years and it'll be
true both places. He's my love and my life and I could not live
