Do you talk to God?

The simplest way to pray is just to close your eyes and bow your head and talk to God through your heart, from the heart. You don't have to pray at any certain time, you don't have to repeat special words. Just unload your burdons to Him!

note: all verses are form the NIV for an easier understanding of the language

Easy ways to a better prayer life...

1 Thessalonians 5:17...Pray Continually.

You can pray anytime, anywhere. Prayer is as simple as talking to Jesus or God as if they are sitting right next to you! Anytime you are sitting quietly is an optimal time to speak with prayer

1 Chronicles 16:25...For great is the Lord and most worthy of praise!

Remember to thank God for all his blessings and his mercy in giving us salvation. Thank him for all blessings. Thank him for his promise to return and take us home to heaven one day!

Mark 11:25...When you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.

How can we expect God to forgive us for things we do when we hold a grudge in our own heart? Ask Forgiveness for the sins you know you do and the ones you forget, daily. God will help you in your anger and hatred towards others, if you only ask for his help and mean it!

Hebrews 13:6...We say with confidence, "the Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?

Pray with confidence that God is listening and hears us. Remember he is bigger than anything we face.

Psalm 27:14...Wait on the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.

Sometimes it seems as if your prayers are not being answered. Sometimes God is saying wait for him to do his work. Sometimes he knows what you ask is not good for you or will hurt you. Sometimes he says no. But it is always with your best interest at heart. He already knows what is best for you and what will work in your life. And when it is good, he says yes in a mighty way!

1 John 4:10...this is love; not that we loved God, but he loved us and sent his son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

close by saying, "in Jesus name", because it was though his death we are able to pray face to face with God and with "Amen" because jesus said to in the Lord's Prayer...our model for prayer!
