Dolphins are the most beautiful creatures under the sea! They're graceful, acrobatic, playful animals!
They seem to have a perpetual smile on their faces!
One summer vacation day we were boating in the Banana River off of Florida's east coast. Due to threatening weather,we were heading back in to shore.
What a delightful surprise we had when we realized we had company! A dolphin was swimming along the side of the boat, leaping out of the water, and grinning at us as if to say, "I think I can take you!" That wonderful creature followed us for a few minutes and then took off. He stayed with us long enough to make our day!
I am so fond of dolphins that I began collecting them, and have a wide variety, most of them gifts. They came from as far away as Mexico and Finland, and are made of sand, wood, brass, plastic, crystal, pewter, and other materials.
I enjoy the dolphin collection, but seeing one "in person" is a real thrill!
