So, you
ask yourself - what is actually happening at the CLS
J-Soc this year? Can those fools on the committee
actually be bothered to do something? Well, the answer is
yes, and here's what we have up our sleeves... |

This Spring we will
be having some huge speakers coming to the school. We can
now reveal that the Chief Rabbi will be speaking in
March, as well as Rabbi Boteach, the controversial author
of 'Kosher Sex' and 'A Jewish Guide to Adultery'. We've
also got Mr. Ned Temko, the editor of the JC, and many
more of your favourite Nosh n'learn speakers. |

We are planning to
have more of our 'nosh n' learn' sessions, where you can
come along and eat some free food, listen to a
stimulating speaker, and participate in a
discussion about topical issues - all at the same time! 3
things all in one - Is it possible? |

We will, of course,
be having a Megillah reading at Purim, with a Purim party
and free hamentashen as always. There will be other
festive celebrations throughout the year, and as you
might know, we have already had a Succah at CLS for the
first time ever! |

There is still
Mincha in room 414 Mondays-Thursdays at 12.50. We always
need over-barmitzvahs for a minyan, and this is
especially important if someone needs to recite Kaddish.
So if you're reading this, go to CLS and are over 13,
then please come along and help us make an afternoon
minyan. |

As some of you will
may remember last year, we held a hugely succesfully gap
year fair, where a number of different organisations came
to CLS to promote their respective schemes. Food was
provided and even a J.C. photographer took some pickies!
We will repeat the same event this year in late March |
