DEVIL SHOESTRING SPELL

This thin, elongated root was used in a number of ways; among them:

HOLY THISTLE SPELL

A small ammount is put in a red bag and carried in the pocket or purse. Said to bring good luck if replaced fresh every seven days. Used to call spirits by some psychic people. The herb is made into a boiling tea. The tea is kept steaming, and the user lies down near it and concentrates on recieving spiritual messagaes..

BLOOD ROOT SPELL

Carried on the person in pocket or purse as a protection against evil spells. Also placed near doorways and windowsills to protect the home from hexes. Was used to throw a hex back by casting broken bits of the root onto the doorsteps of the alleged witche's dwelling.

SPIKENARD SPELL

Spikenard originally came from India. The bible states Christ was annointed with ointment of spikenard. Legend tells of making one's love secure by burying spikenard in the ground and as long as it stays there, a lover will stay faithful. Fresh spikenard had to be added twice a month or the spell would be broken...

COLTSFOOT WEALTH SPELL

For wealth and prosperity for a year, take the husk from an ear of corn and put a dollar bill along with a note written on parchment

"Oh, dear god of lucre,
money is like muck,
not good except it be spread.
Spread some here at--------------( write in your addresss).
Thanks be to thee. Amen."

Sign your name. Sprinkle the dollar bill and note with coltsfoot leaves. Roll the husk up and tie together with green string or ribbion. Hang the token up above the entryway with green cord. That husk should bring ritches into your home or business by the bushel.

CLOVES SPELL

Fill two small charm bags with cloves and tie them on a chain or a thong to wear from the neck. Give one to a friend and wear one yourself.
