Magical work is a rainbow serpent, ancient, beautiful, and whole. Magic touched us with it's tongue in the beginning of human consciousness, it slithers through the quiet places in our psyches. It encircles every land, every culture, and every person. it connects our past with our present, and casts before us a spectrum of future possibilities as high and wide as the rainbow. Then it swallows it's own tail, causing authenticity to meet originality.
Magic is a conscious and directed expenditure of energy. It impels us to put ourselves in accordance with the cycles of nature. It induces us to be fluid
and solid at the same time.
Magic does not "fail", it tests our faith, causes us to clarify our desires, and directs our attention to other avenues.
When the deep blues that sometimes come with the sensitivity of mediumship descend on you, fortify yourself with the following chant...
