Weed Busters
Our Group was awarded The Weedbuster
of the Year Award at the MSC and IYV Presentations
held at the New Botanic Garden in Tanawah on 30th. November 2001.
The Award was based on the Total Volume
of Weeds Removed and the Total Man Hours spent on Working Bees for the
year so it is really something to be PROUD of.

Our NEXT
PROJECT is to
ENLARGE
FELIX PARRY PARK
Council has already made a start by removing the fence and pegging out
the Target Area.
Next phase is to TAG the trees to be preserved and then do some
selective clearing and level the ground to make it suitable as useable
PARKLAND.
We have also applied for a GRANT to fund the construction of a second
Bar-B-Que next to the Playground so that Parents can enjoy the facilities
and keep an eye on the kids at the same time.
