Section 1. Any position vacated during the year shall be filled by nomination and approval from the General Assembly.  The election process to fill vacated seats will begin on the first regularly scheduled General Assembly meeting following nominations to fill the open position on the Mesa Directiva.  As with standard semester elections, the nomination period will remain open from the time of nomination until the time of voting.
