The Facts
- Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox and David Arquette will all reprise their roles out of the first two films
- also starring are: Parker Posey, Deon Richmond, Patrick Dempsey, Lance Henriksen and Emily Mortimer
- Wes Craven is returning as director, Kevin Williamson wrote the plot-outlines and Ehren Kruger completed the script
- the US-release-date is set to be the 10th December 1999
- Scream3 will be the last Scream-Film from the Craven/Williamson Team, but Sequels from other creative teams are only slightly possible.



The Plot
No official statements have been made concerning the plot but it`s quite sure that the movie will take place in Hollywood where Sidney is pursuing her acting career and Gale has got her own TV-Show and is married to Dewey. Oh, and a certain "Mr.Ghostface" is also sure to have one or two appearances :)
The movie is supposed to be much more of a comedy/spoof than the first two, with a lot of Gag-Cameos and many jokes concerning Hollywood and the whole movie business. But don`t worry, there`ll also be plenty of blood, too.



The Rumours
- The biggest Rumour out there is probably that Neve "Sidney" Campbell will die in the opening sequence of the film, with Courtney "Gale" Cox being the main star of the rest of the movie. This Rumour has gaines additional weight by people reporting that Neve Campbell was only on the set for about two weeks.
- The movie is supposed to end with the same sequence that the original Scream started with, and as we all know that would mean that Drew Barrymore returns at least in a cameo role - although it seems quite unlikely that Williamson would somehow resurrect Casey Becker from her grave.
- Cameos in the movie are supposed to include singer Monica, Jennifer Love Hewitt and James van der Beek from Williamsons "Dawsons Creek" Series.
- Wrestler Stone Cold Steve Austin was also reported to be in the movie, but this has since been proven wrong.
