Installation of Kayne Exhaust
The kayne exhaust was pretty easy to install, except for getting the second section of pipe over the rear suspension. I had to cut the pipe in half in order to get it to fit. Also I had to go to the local auto parts store and buy a coupler and two exhaust clamps to couple the two peices of pipe together. Cost under $5.00. The muffler went on without any problems. Yes I know I could have let an exhaust shop put a system on for me but I wanted to work on my car. Also using colorful words like, Mother @#$%^#, s*&t, etc. helped ease the install process.
The Sound and Performance Gains
The sound of the Rayelle muffler is pretty good at idle, but during hard acceleration the mufflers sounds
ratty and tiny. My other muffler options that I am thinking of trying are a Borla Muffler or a DynoMax Ultraflow. As performance goes, I did notice a big improvement over my stock exhaust system. In my opinion the new exhaust and powerstack together sound pretty damn good.
