Patriotic Days

Independence Day July the 4th This is the American Inpendence which celebrates the final signing of the Declaration of Independence

There are as many Inpedependence Days as there are nations because some group as always being taken advantage of. In Zambia their Independence Day from Britich rule is celebrated with a large parade in Lusaka. While under British rule Zambia was called Northern Rhodesia.

Cinco de Mayo
Or May the 5th represents Mexican independence from the Spanish.

Jamhuri Day
This day is on December the 12th it represents Kenya's independence. Bastille Day July the 14th is somewhat of a French Independence Day. The Bastille was a prison in Paris, France that began in 1370. It was a representation of absolutism and the fall of the Bastille which is what sparked the French Revolution on July 14th 1789.

Armistice/Veterans Day This is the anniversary of the signing of the armistice that ended WW I on Nov. 11, 1918. It was changed to Veterans Day in 1954 to shut up vets who felt unappreciated.

There are two many independence days for me to mention, but as we as people have seen countries become free only to enslave another country, as with Bolivia being freed from Peruvian control, who were once controlled by Spain. I will not add on any more to the idea of patriot days, nor national holidays of peoples birthdays because it is obvious why we celebrate these days.
