Ramadan
On this day Molsems fast from sunrise to sunset to commemorate the reveltaion of the written Qu'ran from Gabriel to Mohammed.
'Id al-Fitr
A three day celebration that ends the Ramadan fast. It begins at the first of the next month and it is known as "Breaking the Fast."
'Id al-Adha
Another three day festival. It is on the 12th of Zu'lhijjah. Pays tribute to Abraham's obedience to god by sending his son Ishmael into the desert. Ishmael is considered to be the forefather of Arabs.
