Whitmire Jaycees will host the Party in the Pines Pageant June 7, 2015 at the Whitmire Community
Center at 3:00 p.m. The Theme for the pageant is , “Fun in the Sun.”
The pageant is opened to Girls in the Following Categories:
Baby Miss-0-12
Months Wee Miss- 13-23 Months
Toddler Miss-2-3 year olds
Precious Miss 4-6yrs
Little Miss 7-9yrs
Young Miss 10-11yrs
Junior Miss 13-15 yrs
Teen Miss-16-19 yrs
ENTRY FEES:
Theme Wear- (Required) $40
OPTIONAL EVENTS:
Prettiest Eye, Hair, and Smile $15 for all
Color Photogenic $10 (any size Color photo up to 8x10 – no snapshots please)
Black & White Photogenic $10 (any size Blk & Wht photo up to 8x10 – no snapshots please)
Snapshot $10 (any snapshot taken by an amateur – no professional photos) Extra Photos $5 each
EARLYBIRD SPECIAL-(Or enter beauty, Prettiest Eye, Hair, Smile, one color photogenic, one black & white photogenic, and one snapshot for $ 65 IF ENTERED BY May 16!!)
Attire-Theme Wear:
Groups will compete in ONLY , ‘Fun in the Sun,’ theme wear. This can be anything of your choice except swimwear. Swimwear is not allowed! Be creative! No Beauty wear need! Theme wear should be age appropriate.
Hair-Make-up:
This is a semi-natural pageant. Hair and make-up should be age appropriate. If it isn’t points will be deducted! We are looking for the beauty of the child-let it shine through. Judges will be told to look at age appropriateness of attire, hair, and make-up.
Judging:
Contestants will be judged on theme wear, overall appearance, poise and personality on stage, overall impression. Contestants will not be judged on modeling.
Contestants 0-3years must have a
chaperone on stage. 4 and up may go alone. DO NOT APPROACH JUDGES AT ANY TIME! If you do, you may be disqualified and your money will not be refunded! Sportsmanship is a must toward contestants, their families, pageant staff, and each other. If you or someone in your party is unsportsmanlike, you will be asked to leave without a refund!
Registration and Dressing Area:
Registration will be 1:30-2:30. At this time, you may practice on stage. Doors will open for spectator at 2:15. There will be a $5.00 admission for 6 years and up. One chaperone will be admitted free with each contestant. There will be a dressing area available. However, we ask that you come already dressed with hair and make-up done.
Awards:
There will be one winner in each category which will receive a banner, a nice trophy, a tiara, and a nice gift.
There will be a second and first runner-up in each group which will receive a trophy.
Each contestant competing will receive a gift. No one walks away empty handed.
There will be prettiest eyes, prettiest hair, prettiest smile, most beautiful, and best attire given in each group. Winners of these side awards will receive a nice gift.
There will be a black and white and color photogenic award given in each group and a snapshot. These winners will receive a medal.
There will be one public vote winner which will receive a tiara and a trophy.
SWEETHEART COMPETITION:
(Community Support Award)
All contestants competing for the Sweetheart Miss titles will receive awards (minimum 35 signatures):
Awards:
35 signature small tiara
50 signatures medium tiara
75 signatures medium tiara & trophy
100 signatures large tiara & trophy
ALL Signatures and monies MUST be turned in by Saturday, May 23, 2015) to allow us time to order the awards.
