Episode 28 - New York, New York

Start spreading the news... Well, I'm not leaving today, I'm already back. I went to New York with my girl to meet up with her folks who were travelling through America. After work on Thursday, we headed to Heathrow to catch a plane to the Big Apple for 4 days of fun before returning on the Red-eye flying from Monday Night and back to work on Tuesday Morning.

Once, the tallest building in the world, now it fits neatly on your desktop It was neither cold nor wet nor December nor day, when we touched the ground at JFK, the snow had melted long ago and we didn't have a radio.

However, outside the world trade centre, was a concert stage sponsored by bloomberg radio, they were giving away little radios that could only tune to bloomberg so we got some of those. No music on bloomberg but they were good for weather reports

It was great to see all of the tall buildings. The New Yorkers were all friendly and we had a great time. We stayed at the Hostel which is really big and really busy. We also visited Greenwich Village, Union Square, Times Square and went on a Three hour cruise around Manhatten. It was really great.
