HANALI
TROY AND IANA

The Troian system consists of tem planets orbiting around a binary system.
The two stars are known as Troy and Iana and their names are based on
ancient Troyan religion. The planet names in order from the sun are: Suryi
, Erevan, Corellia (one moon named Sehani), Idyn, Hanali , Aerdra, Lurae (with seven moons: Tyryn, Basta, Sekra, Danai, Myrana, Telanis, and Torilia), Shauntar, Selynia (with one moon named Argentil), and moonless Auril. Both Corellia and Hanali are Class M. The only other currently habitable sphere is not a planet, but Ishta, one of the tow moons of Hanali. Ishta is a class N water world. The other moon of Hanali, Vanya, is being terraformed as of this stardate. It is classified as Class L and consists mostly of forested area.
Hanali (also known as Troya V) is the fifth planet in the system and is also the most populated planet. It's culture is very advanced and although it is a recent addition to the federation, it's citizens devote themselves almost exclusively to learning about and emulating other cultures and their agreement to join the Federation will provide vast amounts of information on numerous other worlds. The race itself is ancient -- having reached a highly advanced technological age and space travel just as Earth's early civilizations were developing. They have been travelling and observing Earth since that time and other worlds perhaps even before then.
In their true forms, Hanalian natives are shimmering balls of light, not unlike their gods -- the stars. In Hanalian religion, the gods are actually stars and each star is an offspring of the gods -- if not a true god or goddess. They also believe that their gods exist as the suns of both Federation and non-Federation worlds. They have been searching for their gods as they travel the universe. They have already found several of them. It is believed that the worlds which orbit these gods and the creatures on them are very special indeed. It is this belief that has let to their intense study of the cultures, religions, and other aspects of these worlds. It has also led them to take on humanoid forms even when on their own world. Which form of each specific Hanalian takes depends on their own preferences and interests. Even the land itself takes on the shapes and cultures of the beloved planets. Therefore, it is not at all strange to encounter what appears to be a Romulan wearing a toga and visiting the Parthenon. There are even rumors that some of the native Hanalians are androids and/or holograms. There is still much to learn.
