Michael's News/Status
To E-mail me:
July 2001: Myrtle Beach days......we'll catch some fun in the waves....I don't care what the west coast says 'cause I love those Myrtle Beach, love those Myrtle Beach days....LOL!!! Headed out for vacation on the 26th in Garden City...see ya later! :)
June 2001: Michael Flatley Feet of Flames Tour, Bi-Lo Center, Greenville, SC. WOW! What a show!
May 2001: SG finally fulfills a life-long ambition and auditions for, and GETS, a juicy part in the theatrical classic 'Our Town' by Thornton Wilder. Experience of my LIFE, new friendships with the other cast members and crew, the audience applause and comments, four great shows I'll NEVER forget!
March 2001: Peace Center, Greenville, SC, 'Cabaret', unbelieveable show, left me SPELLBOUND!
Vacation 2000: Well, the SG clan journeyed to one of our fave vacation spots: out home state'
s own Grand Strand (coast). We went in early June in order to watch/support out niece in a dance convention/competition. Her team did very well, thank you LOL!!!
SG Jr update 2000: SG, the Next Generation LOL!!! made the high school JV/Varsity (plays some on both) and he celebrated his SWEET (?) 16th birthday February 11th. My little baby is growing up (already as tall as I am, although not quite as 'husky' ROTFL!!!). Seems like only yesterday....
Well, Mrs. SG got to realize a life-long dream on 01/08/2000. I took her to see the World Famous Lipizzaner Stallions perform at the Bi-Lo Center in Greenville, SC. It was an extremely good show that we both enjoyed very much. I HIGHLY recommend it.
Sept 20, 1999: Mr. and Mrs. SG celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary (Sept 22) in classy style(?): 'Skynyrd and 'Top at the Bi-Lo Center, Greenville, SC! Hey, you celevrate YOUR way, we'll celevrate OURS! ROTFL!!!
In the fall of '98, the family went up to Charlotte, NC to see the group 'GARBAGE'. My niece works in promotions and was touring with Shirley Manson and the group. Also touring with them was a group called 'Lit'. My niece had arranged for my son Eric and his friend Matt to get to meet Lit after the show. Well, due to some problems with local authorities (no comment) Lit was unable to be available after the show ('nuff said LOL!!). My niece had told the group how much the boys had looked forward to meeting them and that they were themselves aspiring rockers soooooo the group personally autographed a drum head to Eric and sent it to him. To see it, go here. Wasn't that nice? A. Jay Popoff, Jeremy Popoff, Kevin Baldes, Allen Shellenberger thanks a million! You made one teenager VERY happy. You guys ROCK!
